I have been dining here for the past 30 years and the taste was the same for nearly 25 years. But for the past 2-3 years, it's not satisfactory. The famous Chilli Chicken is so spicy nowadays. Another popular dish Butter Chicken is not up to the mark now. The restaurant ambience is okay because it needs some refreshing look for the modern days. Have a look at the serving dishes! They are served in stainless steel utensils; looks like they haven't upgraded after 90s. No value for money as the menu prices are not reasonable for the quality of the item served.
Good restaurant. Ambience very good. From outside it looks to be small but inside it was very spacious with separate seating area. staffs are very kind. food is good. chicken rice is very good. chicken cooked well. must try restaurant in thanjavur. it walkable distance from old bus stand next Maharaja textiles.
Food is good in Taste .Cost is comparatively high for those dishes. Personally I loved their Chicken lollipop.A good spot for family and friends hunger.
Very very bad experience The biryani is very bad and quantity is very low also the taste of it and the price 315 rupees please gays be careful with this restaurant don't go with your family and friends
Tasted Parotha and chicken hyderabadi as biryani.was finished.. Parotha was fresh and flluppy
I bought Rogan gosh at the price tag of 320/-. Mutton pieces are very bad with lots of fat. Photos attached. I complained to the owner no reaction at his face. Bill and photos attached. Very bad experience.
Visited after 6 years. Same taste is there with good service. Paratta was fabulous. Like to meet the owner one day. I tasted the non 1st in my life at Sathars only in 2012.
The food is soo good. It's a treat for non- vegetarians. Probably the best non-veg family restaurant in Thanjavur. The service can be better but the quality of food and the taste stands out. Everything is fresh and in good quality. There is also a bakery in the ground floor where you can order cakes and stuff. It is also served to you in the restaurant. The restaurant's ambience is good. Try going to the place by 7'o clock because it starts getting crowded after that.
