Golden Grand Lodge

Golden grand lodge as the name signals...a.decent hotel in tiruchendur. Hotel is situated at a good location. Some improvements can be made my Goldens .. At first sight the room looks nice. But , 1. The fans needs to be cleaned. 2. AC filter is clogged needs cleaning 3. The toilet cover is broken and needs to be foxed5. 4. The sofa and it's cushions were extremely dirty. Cannot sit ...needs to be cleaned. 5. Pan parag spitted on the walls outside the bathroom by some idiot . May be some old guest. Dear Mr. Golden, please ask your support staff to do their job properly and you need to supervise and ensure the cleanliness. Otherwise, when I visit tiruchendur next time, your hotel will be the worst one.

I was booked in this hotel last month. The Owner was good respond to me and Mr.Sundar sir (Receptionist) also understand the customers situations. This hotel benifits is near in the bus stand. So I suggest to booking this hotel. The rooms was also cleaned.

Big thumbs down to both Agoda and Golden Grand Hotel. Agoda initially showed a room price of 2700, but at the final payment stage, an extra bed charge of 700 was forcefully added -- without us selecting it, and with no option to remove it. The booking was for a family room that could accommodate five adults. We were only three adults and two kids, yet they still charged us for the extra bed. When I contacted Agoda, they claimed the charge was added by the property. When I checked with the hotel, they said the room rent is 4000 if booked directly, and that the extra bed charge was a way to balance out the discounted price offered on Agoda. I reported this to Agoda, but they were completely ineffective, simply repeating that they weren't getting any response from the property. Whether it's Agoda or the property behind this, it's clear customer deception. Agoda seems to lure customers with low prices, only to support such shady practices later. As for the stay itself -- I don't wish to comment. No matter how good the stay might be, it doesn't compensate for cheating customers.

Located in the main area near the temple. Rooms are neat and clean, well maintained
