HOTEL CHITRA PARK, Thiruchendur

Perfect place, surround by lot of hotels and 3-4 mins walk to the temple. They have an outstanding service. We had issue with AC in one of the room, they were quick to attend to it Kudos to the entire team for their excellent service. I request the management to fix the foul smell on the restroom. They should use fan or air freshener this is the only downside. We stayed in 404

A good decent hotel nearby temple. Lift available, so elders can go to their rooms without trouble. The rooms in 4th floor has advantage of using terrace and scenic beach view on one side and temple view on other side. Have enough car parking for the guest. Hot water available at all times and rest rooms were neat. Intercom didn't work and so couldn't able to order coffee/snacks in room. Have WiFi connection as well.

A clean and centrally located hotel, rooms are basic. Clean bathrooms and close to the temple (just 200 meters away). While there's no restaurant attached, there are plenty of eateries around the place. Parking is available inside the hotel as well as next door. Friendly and courteous staff

The only plus is location and close to temple. The room which we stayed are 303 and 304. They were getting foul smells continuously. Instead of repeated complains they didn't use the air fresheners. Their washrooms were too smelly as well as these rooms are close to drainage which am not sure. Listen to customer complaint and rectify it else you will never have at dinner point.

Decent rooms but pricey. Rooms are well maintained towels are not hygienic better avoid. Parking they have separately and the staff's are attentive. Best location near temple, easily we can walk. Good restaurants nearby. For the location we can pay this price.

They never hear your any concerns even though you raise it multiple times. They keenly looking for check in customers, not bother about who already staying. Room service persons are always coming behind for service charges if they just opened the room for check in.. Had a bad experience during the stay. Also they follow strict check out timings and ask for full day charge if extended for few hrs.

ROOM is good. Small one. So many negatives in the room.Receptionists are THE WORST in the universe. They are 100%against customer. Reception area should be improved.

Stayed with my family for a night and we booked two family rooms. Rooms were average they had one queen bed and one single bed in each room. When they handed over the keys to us they forgot to activate the card due to which we did not have electricity in the room, after informing they activated the card (laid back attitude from reception). Note this hotel doesn't have a restaurant. So we had our meals in the near by hotel Ramesh Iyer. We visited on the weekend and the Tirchendur temple was very crowded. We were stuck in the temple for hours and we reached close to our check out time ( we were stuck due to a VIP visit to the temple, and they stopped allowing devotees for Darshan for approx 2 hrs, we were stuck in the queue, the situation was uncontrollable). Hence, we requested the reception to extend the stay for 3 hours, also informed why there was a delay in reaching the hotel and informed the staff that we are willing pay for 3hours ( we had an infant and a 5 year old kid with us). They refused saying the rooms were all booked which was a huge lie. I checked online and rooms were available in the hotel. Staff said we will have to pay full day charge. In short they had rooms available however they were trying to get more money from us. Imagine for 3 hrs asking full price of the room? I have stayed in 4-5 star hotels but no one behaved like how the staff in this hotel behaved. We had kids with us hence we had to request an extension by 3hours. The staff was so inconsiderate about the situation that they sent their staff after us so that we can check out. Staff kept a watch till the time we checked out. Then they disconnected the electricity in the room so that we could move out soon. Imagine the level of rudeness from the hotel staff. THIS HOTEL IS VERY INCONSIDERATE. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff doesn't know how to speak to customers and they are extremely rude with no sense of how to treat the customers. There are better hotels near them like Hotel Ramesh Iyer etc. we being frequent visitors to Tirchendur thought of trying this hotel for the first time and they made our experience horrible. Paying approx 9k for two family rooms and this is how we got treated.
