The Aardvark Cafe

The ambience is very good, matches the cafe vibes of the metro cities, but felt some charm is missing. Tried their BBQ chicken pizza, Aardvark special brownie with ice cream and coffee. The ice cream was melted even before reaching our table. The pizza size was very small - seemed smaller than the usual Regular size. The prices are exorbitant. The quantity of the dishes are not worth the price and also not worth the hype being created by the so called insta influencers! Staffs and service was Okish and can be improved. No dedicated parking is available. Have to manage in front of the cafe. Will be challenging in peak hours. It would be better if it supports work from the cafe (co-working space kind) options. Some of their policies mentioned in the menu card (image attached) might not be suitable for work-from-cafe (table duration, dress code, meetings) as in Chennai/Bangalore. Overall, a posh place in Tuticorin, can certainly be preferred for a truly luxurious cafe experience, especially without budget constraints.

A cafe with good and pleasant ambience, but a pathetic service and food. Eventhough there was no crowd.The waiter needs to be reminded 3 to 4 times just to get a bottle of water. The water bottle's MRP is 20 rupees, but they charged 25 for it, when i informed them that they cant charge above MRP, the owner tried to manipulate me about it.. ( 5 rupees is not a big money, but 5 rupees for every single bottle they sell is kind of big and cheating the public ) I had a Japanese chicken fried rice and a masala omelet and for a price which is equal to chennai or other metro cities, they can make it better, but it was below averagea and in the fried rice I literally searched for chicken!!!.. they have to improve a lot on their service and food. If the cafe sees this review, try to take it as a constructive criticism and improve rather than taking it in a bad way

Visited their new cafe which was opened recently. I ordered several items from the menu. Overall experience was pleasant, neat and clean ambiance. Brownie-3/5 Donut-2/5 Japanese Fried rice-5/5 (Quantity can be improved) Korean crispy Chicken-5/5 Honey chicken with garlic rice-3.5/5 Grilled chicken sandwich-3/5 The donuts were mentioned freshly baked but neither it was hot nor looking fresh, Brownie was average. But their signature Korean crispy chicken and Japanese fried rice were perfect. Filled with flavours and a must try. However portion size can be improved The only actual cafe setup in Thoothukudi, Must try for their unique dishes

My most favourite spot in Tuticorin is finally open again. I have always loved Aardvark cafe and this time, the new place is just outstanding. Great place to hang out with friends and family. You can also enjoy your alone time here by sipping your cappuccino. The cappuccino is so good here. It is rich and perfectly balanced. Love the interior and the layout of the cafe. Beautifully decorated with plants and unique artwork. It gives charming and cozy vibes. Excellent customer service. Service is very quick and the quality is also too good. Aardvark cafe is known for its pastries. Don't miss to try them out. Always a huge fan of their brownie with ice cream and red velvet cake. Also, every corner is photo-worthy!! Very instagrammable! I'll be visiting quite often

One of the worst cafe experiences I've ever had. From the moment we walked in, the service was poor and unwelcoming. First, we were asked to change our table for no reason at all. Then we ordered a caramel frappe and a hot chocolate -- both were complete disasters. The caramel frappe tasted like plain milk with zero flavor, and the hot chocolate tasted like hot water mixed with Bonvita -- definitely not what you'd expect when you're paying premium prices. The service was ridiculously slow, and the staff seemed clueless. A waitress even tried to take away my drink before I was done with it -- extremely rude. To top it all off, they didn't provide water at the table, and we had to ask for tissues. At these prices, basic courtesy and service should be a given. Highly overpriced for such a disappointing experience. Definitely not recommending this place to anyone.

The ambience is very nice. Seating arrangements provided for around 20 people. We ordered a chicken Creamy pasta and a chicken burger. It's overpriced for the quality and the quantity. Please provide a larger portion of patty for the burger. As of May 4, 2025 Crispy chicken burger - 279 Creamy chicken pasta - 389

Nice ambience, The Food Taste Good and the place is clean , Good Service Overall :) , Might increase portion size a bit though

Atmosphere is good. But food not tested as good for the price pr ambience. Chettinad roll is waste of money.
