About to catch a train? Want a quick tiffin? Want to buy some parcel. This is the good place. Don't expect awesome taste. But its OK taste.

I visited Central Cafe few days ago. I have been regular to this restaurant whenever I visit Tirunelveli for the last couple of decades. I would say this is a decent veg restaurant near the junction. Food quality is good. Cost is not much as mentioned in few other reviews. A good spot if you are planning to take parcel and board the train. Parking is an issue especially if you come by car. Having said that it is a good veg restaurant over there.

After traveling a long distance from Chennai, I was looking for a reliable place to get a good breakfast, and Central Cafe met my expectations. The dosas and Idly that we ordered were genuinely good and satisfying. It was exactly what I needed to start my day. The service was also efficient, and I appreciated the promptness. While I didn't spend much time focusing on the atmosphere, it seemed like a pleasant and local spot.

Food is Good. This Hotel has been Famous since many decade. But please keep the Washroom & Restroom clean. It was very unclean and stinky. Your Health of the Hotel lies in the cleanliness of Restroom. Appeal to owners, kindly take necessary action on cleanliness

I recently visited Hotel Central Cafe for breakfast and had a decent overall experience, though there are a few things worth noting. The ambience is quite good -- clean, well-maintained, and comfortable for a casual dine-in. It has a simple, relaxed vibe that makes it a nice spot for small groups or solo visitors. I tried the dosa, poori, and chilly parotta. The dosa was crisp and served with standard chutneys and sambar. While the chutneys were fresh, the sambar lacked depth in flavor. The poori was soft and paired with a decent potato masala. Among the three, the chilly parotta stood out -- spicy, flavorful, and cooked with a generous amount of masala. However, it was a bit oily, which might not suit everyone. The service was fairly quick and the staff was courteous, but the pricing felt on the higher side for what was offered. The portion sizes were average, and while the food was tasty, it didn't quite justify the cost compared to similar places nearby. Overall, Hotel Central Cafe has good food and ambience, but the higher prices might make you think twice if you're looking for better value for money. A nice experience, but not the most budget-friendly option.

Visited a little after 10 pm. The shutter was quarter closed. There were several people having their dinner inside. Without passing through the shutter I asked if food was available. The person near the right side entrance (coffee/tea counter?) asked, "Don't you see that the shutter is not fully open. What kind of people are these!"

Just an average restaurant. Had masala dosa and coffee, both being just average taste. Chutney was not that much great. Staffs are all old people. Service time is not too long. No AC provided, too hot inside Not much recommended. Parking is hard to find. Easy for passengers traveling to have light vegetarian food.

Ok price.. very worst quality and uneven quantity foods. near by local hotels provide better quality foods with better services. Seems like Idly Dough was prepared 3 days before. They served pongal in a small cup and it was served only half cup. when asked there was no responsible answers. Coconut Chutney was also not good. I started to visit this hotel regularly since my father told me about its quality earlier days, but i found it very worst and pathetic nowadays.
