RAJANAYAGAM'S MESS

I just had a lunch in this hotel. (Around 3.20pm) I have ordered chicken meal and pepper chicken dry. Rice served in beetal leaf which is not hot. Chicken kozhambu was little hot. Along with meals I received poriyal and kottu ,appalam.but the taste of food it's not up to the mark and the taste also not so good which I expected based on the previous Google reviews. And after few mints I have ordered pepper chicken dry added with extra spicy but the server said no it's prepared and kept based on our order it will get served. Received in a bowl with around 5 to 7 pieces really telling not at all worth for 190/- it's a scam even if we went for normal hotel they will give boneless atleast they'll inform us with better quality and quantity. Food isn't great. Their speciality is supposedly theepori chicken which one might think it would be spicy as the name suggests but it was very sweet. It s nothing but drums of heaven. The lollipop in the supposedly called theepori chicken was not even cooked properly. For the price they quote, it s not worth the place. Chicken Fried rice was filled with lot of cabbage and it didn't feel like restuarant style fried rice. It felt like some fast food joint with too much of veggies. Kari dosa was blackened and salna didn't taste like salna. Chicken tikka was mentioned as 180 in the menu but the actual was 240. When asked they mentioned it is old menu. 60rs price hike from what was mentioned in the menu. None of the service team had the courtesy to mention that the menu is old and price is different. It's the same for other items as well. Needs a lot of improvement, that too when they have good competitors like dparottas, king kitchen, naatu kozhi around who provides tasty food. Won't suggest anyone if you plan onto spend an evening.

I honestly expected better from this restaurant. Their food is okay, but the service not so much! They messed up our order and served us Chicken chukka instead of the Mutton Chukka we ordered. They gave the wrong flavour of soda, but they graciously changed it in the end. They had an offer written on the board outside, stating "Monday special, Buy 10 parottas and get 5 free, Buy 1 Kudalkari and get 3 parottas free". They didn't let us avail the offer, they billed us for 14 parottas. When we asked the person at the billing area, he turned it on us, saying we should have mentioned it earlier. Why display an offer like that and not give it? Makes me doubt the credibility of the restaurant. I will definitely not be visiting again, purely because of the bad customer service.

Bought Fish Kulambu for lunch as I prepared rice at home. Fish Kulambu costed 70 , and the fish Kulambu taste wasn't upto the mark, that's the second thing. Primary thing is for the price of 70 , there were only 2 saalai fishes in the parcel (which is very very low price among fishes) and that too just 2 pieces. Coming to quantity it was very less for a single person to eat. Totally disappointed. Should improve to stay connected with customers

Now I visit 'RAJANAYAGAM MESS'....! I order tandoori chicken It's sooooo tasty I also tried the tiipporri chicken one of the best best dish... Good combination of chapatii really love it... And All the menu items of unique Name, veriety of non veg meals... Pallipalayam Chicken must try... Our mess speciality Kids also eat this food bcz not use for ajinomotoand Any food color Amazing Atmosphere and great service...our server was very knowledgeable and friendly...we will recommend at any time... Loved my dinner for one at the "RAJANAYAGAM MESS " All Staff very kind, helpful and Fun!

The experience was good overall, friendly soft spoken staff and very good ambience. Visit with your family for home style food.

A perfect place for authentic home-style non vegetarian meals in tirunelveli. The masalas have got that home cooked flavour. No extra oiliness. Dishes tried: mutton chukka, kanava chukka, egg dosai and chicken kothu parota. Prices are nominal. Service is exceptional, especially the waiter who served us. Very attentive and professional.

A perfect destination for NonVeg lovers in Tirunelveli. This place is simply attagasam. I recommend this place to all meat lovers amd i am happy to say that the food we eat at this place is limitless. The way they treat the customers was awesome feel a majestic feel. Being a seafood lover I say the dishes I tasted here is toooooo tasty. And the rate is highly mentionable one. Such a good quality food they give in such rates are that is absolutely surprising. Whenever I visit thirunelveli again I would wish to have my meals in Rajanayagam mess only. Keep rocking. Thanks team for treating my tongue. Whole family awaits for the next visit.
