Madurai sri pandiyan hotel vellore is place where you can find authentic Madurai style food in vellore. They have both AC and non AC serving. All staff are very Friendly and very humble. Rate is just higher than moderate, but when it comes to taste, it will over come all the things. About the food, Mutton Kari Dosa: Traditional maduari special dosa, well cooked big dosa with quiet a good amount of well chopped mutton add to it. Very very tasty with the chicken sallana (kuruma). Kara chutney and coconut chutney is made in excellent south indian style goes well with kari dosa too. Chicken pepper fry: well made, well cooked soft chicken , spicy, u could feel the taste of onions and peppers in it a lot. Muttai laba (egg stuffed parotta) : egg stuffed parotta. Over all the best hotel for authentic south indian non veg food.
I had mutton biriyani today. Very worstu experience. Mutton is very very hard. No taste waste of money 220Rs wasted. I would not recommend this place
I went with my brother. We had chicken kotthu paratha, kal dosa with mutton chukka. By mistake they took mottai kal dosa which we took as a parcel. Every item was new to our taste bud because first time we had tried. Price was reasonable. One bad thing is that they don't have menu card in English, they had menu painted in wall in Tamil .
