Went for meals, dosa and juice. Tasty food. Restroom is ok. Decent place to visit for breakfast, lunch and dinner if you're looking for vegetarian option.

This Saravana Bhavan hotel is located near the new Bus stand with good parking space for 2 wheeler and car parking. We ordered rava dosa, sambar vada, and chola poori. Rava dosa tasted good and was slightly not crispy. Sambar vada taste is decent Chola poori looks like a big size apalam and tastes wise okay. Especially tea served here was superb, recommend. The old authentic Saravana Bhavan taste was missing. A decent restaurant to visit, do check them

We indulged in mini idlis and masala dosa, each dish a testament to Saravana Bhavan's culinary expertise. The mini idlis were soft and soaked up the vibrant sambhar, which was rich and layered with flavor, adding a depth that's hard to find elsewhere. The dosa was golden and crisp, with a perfectly spiced masala filling that melted in our mouths, making each bite a delight. Their range of chutneys added a beautiful diversity of flavors, with each chutney reflecting Tamil Nadu's rich cultural palette--each unique, yet harmonizing beautifully with the dishes. To wrap up the meal, we enjoyed their signature filter coffee, which had a smooth, robust flavor and just the right amount of froth, giving us a refreshing boost. The ambiance of Saravana Bhavan is inviting and efficient, creating a space that complements its reputation for excellence. For anyone seeking authentic vegetarian cuisine in a setting that values tradition and quality, Saravana Bhavan is a top choice.

Saravana Bhavan is an iconic restaurant symbolising south Indian cuisine not just in Tamil Nadu, but across the world; and the Vellore branch lives up to the expectations. We had our lunch in the air conditioned Vanatirupati hall, where we ordered butter roti with Panneer Tikka Masala. The staff was polite and delivered the food quickly, and the food was fresh and delicious. It is a very good place to have any meal of the day, and their dosas and meals are especially recommended.

This place is good. don't judge basis the environment there. If you order a south indian meal you are done for the day. It's unlimited and it's good, decent. You can try and once you should try given there are not much good veg options in Munnar

Posted 5 years ago: Excellent south indian food available here. Very nice ambience. Service was superb. Posted on 9.9.2024 Class is proved always. Food quality and taste is excellent. There is no compromise on these two. Surprisingly Idly, Dosa and Chapati varities available throughout the day from 6 am to 10.30pm, including meals time.

We were on our way to Bengaluru, when we took a detour to dine here. I went purely with the brand name, and thankfully, I wasn't disappointed entirely. The atmosphere in the AC section was just ok, we were the only customers for a long time after we took our seats. Quite a few dishes were missing in many sections, luckily for them, we weren't choosy and what we wanted was available, at least in the starters and main course. They have a plethora of dishes in their desserts menu, but a lot were unavailable, which was the only time I felt disappointed. A brand chain like HSB ought to have their entire list of dishes up and ready, least of all desserts, but that wasn't the case on our day. You can visit this place for a quick lunch on your way to Bengaluru/Chennai, or even if you're passing through Vellore. The washroom was well maintained, and though it's located on a busy road, they have a parking facility for cars.

Food is not so great for the money. But it is a decent hotel to have food. There is a parking space available for car. There are no many pure vegetarian hotels nearby so not much choice we have it. Service is good not so great. Ordered fried rice which is more oily and other dishes are also average. Other branches are good with quality of food.
