We were on the hunt for the best biryani in Vellore and stumbled upon Vellore Kitchen. Though there was a bit of a wait to get a table, the food made it absolutely worth it! We tried the Nawab Mutton Biryani, white sauce pasta, tandoori chicken and non-veg meals -- and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, portions were generous, and the quality was top-notch. Highly recommended if you're in Vellore and craving a satisfying meal!

The chicken biryani and chicken wings were really good! I had the goat appetizer too and everything was spicy and flavorful. I also and a mint lemonade that helped cool things off. Must visit! I was passing through Vellore and stopped by for lunch. Everything came out quick and hot.

The Vellore Kitchen: A Culinary Gem in the City With December bringing a season of cozy home-cooked meals, we decided to break the routine and explore The Vellore Kitchen for dinner. The decision turned out to be a rewarding one, as this place managed to surpass expectations with its ambiance and exceptional dishes. The menu is a treasure trove of flavors, and we started with the Hot and Sour Chicken Soup. It was perfect for the chilly evening, with its rich, warming spices instantly uplifting our spirits. For the main course, we ordered the Bun Parotta paired with Chicken Chettinad Gravy, Chicken Fried Rice, and Ghee Roast. The Parotta was soft, flaky, and absolutely delicious, while the Chettinad Gravy was subtly spiced but felt a tad mild. Based on my experience, I'd highly recommend opting for the Butter Chicken or Chicken Tikka Masala--they're absolute showstoppers. The Chicken Fried Rice initially felt a little too salty, but upon notifying the staff, they promptly replaced it with a perfectly balanced version. Their responsiveness and attentiveness to feedback stood out and made the experience even more delightful. The Ghee Roast was the perfect finale, with its crispy edges and aromatic flavor leaving us craving for more. Good ambience, bun parota was my pick of the visit, chicken nalli curry with bun parota was deadly combo, good biriyani, parking could hv been better.

The Vellore Kitchen is one of the best Non-veg restaurants in Vellore, even though they serve vegetarian food yet their Non-veg menu stands out. They serve breakfast too. They have two outlets in Vellore, 1. Chennai - bangalore highway which is their main branch 2. Near the silk mill bus stop, quite next to PVR cinemas. Usually this restaurant is fully occupied, we need to wait at least 15-30 mins. We have tasted different types of menu over these years, some of them are Andhra style chilli chicken, pepper chicken, Mutton koola, chicken biryani, mutton biryani, egg kalaki, cocktail chicken wings, gun chicken, tandoori chicken, chicken drums of heaven, tender coconut sarbath, bbq chicken, hot and sour chicken soup, egg podimass and malai chicken tikka. A strategic location with a good outside view and state of art design and amenities. Menu is good. Prices are to restrict it to the elite group. The service need to be enhanced by motivated waiters.
