Customer Reviews & Testimonials
This is the Main Dining Hall inside the Kanha Shanti Vanam. They serve breakfast between 7:30 AM and 9 AM and Lunch between 12:30 PM and 2 PM and dinner from 7:30 PM and 9:00 PM. While this is the dining place for the inmates (need to furnish a coupon), on Sundays it's open to all. They serve very nice food (more like Prasadam) and insist on not wasting it (which is very good). You can also come back and take whatever you want (that way you don't waste food). There are few tables where you can sit and eat and also people can sit on the floor and eat. Good thing is there is a good arrangement to wash the plates and individuals are expected to clean their plates (which is very good from a discipline) perspective. I really love going there once a while and relishing the Prasadam.
On our visit to Kanha Shanti Vanam, we had the opportunity to dine in the main dining hall. The organization offers food with a sense of divine purpose, catering to those practicing heartfulness meditation, as well as the staff and visitors. Depending on the purpose of one's visit and stay, the meals can either be free or available for a nominal fee. The dining experience at Kanha Shanti Vanam reflects a deep cultural respect for food and cleanliness. The hall is maintained in an exceptionally clean and hygienic manner. Food is served systematically, with an emphasis on order and efficiency. Diners are encouraged to sit and eat at clean tables and are expected to clean their own plates after finishing, fostering a culture of self-responsibility and community. The food itself feels like prasadam, symbolizing the divine connection and care in its preparation. It tasted nourishing and soulful, aligning with the serene atmosphere of the center. All amenities are provided thoughtfully, adhering to a systematic timetable. The center offers three meals a day--breakfast, lunch, and dinner--along with tea breaks, all organized in a meticulous and orderly fashion.
Free food on registration for the members of Heartfulness. Free food for all on Sundays and special spiritual festivals. At times food can be extremely good But definitely filling and wholesome on all times. Go for it without a doubt.
Satwik food served as prasad. Food is tasty, healthy and most importantly satisfying. Well maintained and cleaned. My heartfelt gratitude to people who are involved in running this place.
Simple tasty food at 30 INR. Chach is also provided along with rice, chapatis, dal and vegetable. Good dining space and very systematic distribution system.
Cheap and best food also sometimes free during celebrations. Eat in divine remembrance to get the divine feelings.
