Baisakhi Family Dhaba

We had a disappointing experience with the billing at this restaurant. We paid 2500(500 rupees notes) by mistake instead of 2000 as the bill was 1600. When we realized it shortly after and informed the staff, the waiter insisted we had only given 2000 and refused to acknowledge the extra amount, even though we were very sure about what we handed over. It was quite upsetting and left a bad impression. We expect more honesty and responsibility from the staff in handling customers' money.

We went to this place to have dinner, but neither the food taste nor the quantity is better.Our bill was 1600/- and by mistake we have given 2500/- instead of 2000 /- as we were having only 500 notes. And when we asked immediately to the waiter he was rudely answering that we have given 2000 /- only and he had given us change of 400/- . He even made the other staff member as a fault witness and they managed to cheat us very badly.

It's a great place if you want to relish dhaba style cooking. Well cooked and well served. Pet friendly. Kid friendly. Adequate parking space. Far off from the city bustle and light on your pocket. Except carry a mosquito repellent as evenings can be annoying without it. Although the provide repellent incense sticks due to outdoor seating not very effective.

Food is tasteless. Service is too slow. You will get kebab but have to wait long for the chutney. Too many mosquitoes. Temperatures are hot and at least mist fans are bare minimum that is expected. Overall, it's a too costly affair as the entire menu is over priced. Portion size does not justify the cost, it's too small.

Worst food and number one cheating staff over there. Our bill is 1600 and by mistake my husband gave 2500(five 500 notes) thinking it as 2000 and i immediately saw and called him back but he ignored and went inside and came back after some time and gave only 400 change and he denied the fact that we gave 2500. Just go to this dhaba only for bad food and to be cheated badly by cunning staff

Baisakhi Family Dhaba serves one of the best Apollo Fish I've ever had - perfectly spiced and cooked to perfection! The flavors are truly impressive and make the visit worthwhile. However, the place could definitely use a little more attention to cleanliness and hygiene.

I have seen a lot of negative reviews about this place complaining about serving plates and poor quality oil. But, what would you expect in a roadside dhaba? A five star service with silver cutlery? Anywho, my experience at this dhaba was pleasant. I thoroughly enjoyed being sober and relishing 3 types of kebabs and some veg snacks. We were about 9 people and it costed us 4K for a sufficient dinner. Be sure to carry odomos as it is an outdoor dhaba and there's always mosquito menace. Wouldn't really call it a family dhaba but a decent place to chill with friends over few self bought drinks.

If I could give zero stars I would. The portion sizes are tiny for the price. $20 for about a cup and a half of curry is ridiculous and the lamb biryani was way too expensive for how much was given. I ordered from Uber eats. This place is a rip off
