Ok I am biased, I do not have benchmark for non veg food ( as I do not eat) but wife and kid said this was good. The vegetarian paneer sabz was nice too done in dum style. The server was was nice she (Pratima) definitely helped us not to over order and waste as we did it at other places. The drink of kid was nice too. The paneer was plentiful and oh so melt in mouth experience. Very relaxed nice ambience right in hustle bustle of the busy city. Very light it no noise. Good light on eye refined decor. Good place to relax and have nice food. I would have bought their membership with those many offerings if I could use them all

The restaurant is very pretty (located on the 10th floor). Food portions are small but taste really good. It serves 1-2 people! For experience, it's a nice place to visit.

Mixed feelings about the place. Heard great things from the locals. Tough to get reservations, but worth waiting for it. The food was amazing, flavorful and worth every bit of wait. The service seemed very spotty, the waiter took the order, dropped the food off and showed up for the bill. Pretty basic service in my mind but maybe the food is so good that service is secondary. Ambience is great, you feel like you are in a palace. expensive, but worth a try.

Dum Pukht Begum is a beautiful restaurant on the 10th floor of the ITC Kohenur hotel. The elegant decor, featuring handmade carpets and chandeliers, impressed me instantly. Despite being fully booked, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me. The complimentary papad with dips was a delightful start. The red chili sauce was perfectly balanced, and the mint chutney offered a welcome kick. I also enjoyed the Marag Shorba soup, recommended by the attentive waiter. However, the Hyderabadi Dum Beryani, while flavorful, didn't live up to the city's renowned biryani scene. It lacked the expected spice level, but the accompanying salona provided a flavorful complement. The true star of the meal was the Kulfi, a rich and creamy dessert recommended by the waiter. Initially hesitant due to being full, I'm glad I took their advice! It was the perfect ending to the experience. Overall, Dum Pukht Begum offers a fine dining experience with exceptional service. While the Biryani didn't meet my expectations, I would return to try other dishes on their menu.

I visited this place for a team lunch with a group of 20 people, initially it was only us and the service was good as well. I would like to thank Rohit & Shiva/Shivam i do not recollect the name now.

Occasion : Corporate dinner party Experience : Surprisingly average Recommendation : Only if you prefer the location. Food : Nothing extraordinary Details : My fine dine experience that involves a vegetarian set menu, a. Appetizers - They served a variation of spinach and Aloo beetroot kababs. While they are very different in taste, they are just kababs. Expected dishes of two different varieties (Which was not the case for non vegetarian appetisers) c. Main course - The breads were good, soft yet crunchy. The curries served were based out of paneer and spinach. Having had a spinach based patty, I was taken aback to see a spinach based curry again. They did have brinjal but unfortunately I don't eat that. Nothing wrong with how the food tasted, but certainly didn't expect this.. Dal was surely average. Only option in rice was Biryani, it was good but I am not a biryani fan. d. Deserts were toooo sweet for my liking. Happy to see 3 options but no baked deserts for those who are not fond of regular sweets. Finally, service.... I so wish to give them full marks here but small misses here and there... 1. While 95% of the times you will be asked before you are served something, I was served brinjal directly onto my plate while I was eating without my consent. They replaced the plate immediately but it is unpleasant to see inconsistency in how they operate. 2. Turnaround time is too high. The waiting time between two dishes was too much, specially the final deserts... And the time take to set up the plate of the roti and curry was also on a higher side. By the time the third curry was served, a lot of my team mates completed their 1st quarter of the roti. We were a table of 12 with an advance reservation Just a small heads up, the water is chargeable and it costed us around 4000 for 7 bottles. I am not sure if they informed anyone on the table about the charges, so no comments.

Some friends were visiting from USA and wanted to taste some good Indian food. This was the place we chose. Now ITC DumPukth is a restaurant in a luxury hotel. So ambience, service and experience are basic hygiene factors. Unfortunately we were about to be proven wrong. Simple things like wobbly tables. Sloppy serving. Incompetent recommendations and more, left a lot wanting. For a bill that was on the higher side of 5 figures, this food experience at Hyderabad DumPukth was very avoidable. An Exotica (which is a restaurant in the city) would have done this job for a lot less and probably better.

Excellent food. I found this restaurant in ITC Kohinoor to be the best among the restaurants there. The lamb biryanis was aromatic and flavorful and the chicken with stuffed lamb and cashews was spectacular as well
