Gismat Jail Mandi Restaurant

I've know gismat for years now, some of their franchises are mediocre. This is one of them! I've ordered one mandi for main meal (okaish flavour) & cheese mushroom kurkure as my starter(It's pointlessly spicy & poor flavours) You can visit other ones for better experience and taste. It's a 3/5 for me!

We ordered Fry Combo Jumbo.. Mutton Fry, Chicken Fry, and Fish Fry were included. Overall food was decent. Mutton Fry was delicious. Fish Fry and Chicken Fry were OKish. Disappointed with Jumbo rice quantity as it was sufficient for 2 guys only. we had to order extra rice for girls. We also wasted money by ordering Chicken roast starter and it was over burnt and not edible. Service was not so good at all. Ambience is good but not maintained good

We went here for dinner on a Friday. We ordered a non veg platter for starters and it was good. Chicken fry piece had too much oil. Mandi was good. But many items weren't available even at 10.30 PM. And at 11 they switched off the AC even after multiple requests.

I was disappointed with my recent experience at the restaurant, particularly with the service and food portion size. I ordered chicken mandi for two, which cost 739 rupees, but was provided with only half-filled cup of mynnoise. When I requested another, i was informed that it is thier policy to sever only a half cup per order and was charged extra for an additional serving. This practice of deliberately serving smaller quantity to potentially charge customers more is unfare. On a positive note, the ambience of the restraurant was pleasant, very good air conditioning.
