Visited Chutneys at LB Nagar recently after hearing so much about it--and I can see why it's been a favorite for many over the years. The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming, and service was on point throughout our meal. Tried the paneer paratha and mixed veg raitha, both of which were flavorful and well-prepared. That said, I did feel like the place could use a bit of a facelift to match the high standards it's known for. Also, while the taste was good, the quantity felt a bit on the lighter side for the price. Overall, a decent experience, especially if you're looking for a family-friendly spot with solid vegetarian options.

I recently had the misfortune of dining at Chutney, and it was an experience I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. From start to finish, the visit was a masterclass in how to run a restaurant into the ground. Firstly, and perhaps most shockingly, they refused to provide glasses for water. We were told to drink directly from the bottles, which is not only unsanitary but also incredibly rude. In a restaurant setting, basic hygiene and customer comfort should be a given. Secondly, during our meal, they decided to empty and clean their dustbins inside the dining area while customers were eating. The stench was absolutely awful, and the sight of refuse being dragged through the space was enough to turn anyone's stomach. It was incredibly unhygienic and showed a complete disregard for customer comfort. To add insult to injury, after this debacle, the staff had the audacity to shamelessly ask for a tip. After such a terrible experience, the expectation of a tip was beyond laughable. The food itself was mediocre at best, but even if it had been exceptional, the abysmal service and lack of basic hygiene would have overshadowed any positive aspects. I strongly advise anyone considering dining at Chutney to reconsider. This establishment clearly has no respect for its customers and operates with a level of incompetence that is truly astounding. Save your money and your sanity - eat elsewhere.

After hearing from so many people around regarding Chutney's restaurant, I decided to go there with my wife. And I regret it badly. First, staff were courteous so that's a plus. Water bottles given but not glass. Chutney's special spring roll was bland. No taste, no spice, no salt, the sauce it comes with doesn't go with it. Though sauce itself as an individual item is nice. Guntur idli is just plain disgusting. Poor quality of ghee used. First time in my life ever I left behind unfinished food on my plate. Masala Dosa is just OK. Sambhar it comes with is average at best. Comes with 6 types of Chutneys. Only ones worthy of being mentioned are groundnut, Chana Dal and coconut chutney. And coconut chutney is also sort of ruined because the amount of additional sugar they add. Chana Dal and ground nut chutney are very good.

Chutney s lb nagar is worst hotel, I have ordered tandoori roti and butter naan. I never ever seen the worst rotis quality, both tandoori and butter naan rotis are very bad,I had thrown to a dog, the dog also denied to eat.

We enjoyed sumptuous South Indian lunch hosted by Padmaja Rani to celebrate her 70th Birthday. The regular food was quote good, suplimented by two yummy sweets and mango juice. The drumsticks-curry served twice needs a special mention, while friems papads and icecreams are upto the standards.

Chutneys has always been a go-to restaurant for me whenever I visit Hyderabad, and it has been a great experience over the years. However, this time, I was quite disappointed as the food quality and taste had dropped significantly. While the staff were excellent--attentive and courteous, the overall dining experience wasn't the same as before. The venue itself feels old and could use a revamp to match its reputation. Hoping they work on improving the food quality because this place has always been a favorite!
