Jagavi's Kritunga Restaurant

Disappointed Experience with Jagavi's Kritunga via Zomato I ordered Chicken Pot Biryani and Andhra Chicken Curry through the Zomato app, expecting an authentic pot-cooked experience as advertised. Unfortunately, it was a letdown. The biryani was not slow-cooked in a pot as claimed -- they simply served regular biryani in a pot. If it's not genuinely cooked in a pot, why label it as "Pot Biryani"? This isn't the first time either. On a previous order, I chose the Family Pot Biryani with the option for a meat of choice, but they just sent the usual chicken biryani -- again, not pot-cooked. Very disappointing and misleading. I wouldn't recommend ordering from here based on my experience.

Good food. Nice and tasty. Kritunga is famous for high spicy food and biryani and it was as expected. The starters were nice. Parking might not be available on the road.

I love love love their gongura papu , gutti vankaya curry and ragi mudha. I regularly purchase their gongura papu and gongura chicken.. I really love how tangy and tasty it is. I would really appreciate it if u did not pack the ragi mudha in the plastic containers. And the Gutti vankaya curry has only 2 brinjal pieces in it. I was really disappointed about that.

1) Ambiance: The place was structured with aristocratic tables with glassy wodden sunmica finish. The lighting with lantern like brown structure complimented to the dining area. Seats were comfortable but the hight of the table could be brought a little down. 2) Ordered Vegetarian Thali, along with puran poli & kokam Soda. It's my first time experience of Maharashtrian cusine and I must say, I shall visit again 3) Service: The service was a bit slow and it took time for the thali to reach us but once it did all was good. Absence of Modak was a spoiler :( I did not like that they did not prepare that. Wanted to taste the same. Overall, a must visit for vegetarian people at least once and tast some authentic Marathi dish and say... Jai Shivaji

It was a good experience overall, tbh rly good staff members but the food is not for the less spice tolerant persons it's on the spicy side I liked it. Solid 4 stars

Loved the ambience and the set up. Has ample seating facility... food is as usual spicy like natukodi pulusu n biryani but loved the taste always. Fried rice is really yummy and tasty Service can be better

Ordered takeaway. Chicken biryani, grilled chicken, and moghalai chicken were good. Quantity and quality are not worth the price.
