Situated in Mehdipatnam, Mak's kitchen delivers a biryani experience that's nothing short of sensational. The shadi style mutton zafrani biryani has the rice which is perfectly fluffy, infused with the aroma of saffron and slow-cooked spices, and the boneless chunks of mutton is super tender. There is a beautiful balance in the flavours in their biryani which is not overly spicy, but layered with warmth and depth that lingers pleasantly. It is the kind of biryani that doesn't just fill your stomach, it makes you pause and savor every bite, especially when paired with a side of lovely raita and tangy mirchi ka salan. Complementing the biryani is their standout Chicken 65:- A fiery, lip smacking appetizer that hits all the right notes. Deep red and boldly spiced, the chicken is crisp on the outside while staying juicy inside, garnished with curry leaves and green chilies that add a punchy kick. It works perfectly with their biryani. Whether you are a local regular or someone who is visiting Hyderabad for the first time, do not forget to visit Mak's Kitchen and enjoy their food.

Tried out Maks Kitchen recently, which is hyped for its Hyderabadi cuisine especially the Hyderabadi Biryani. Ambience was actually great -- nice vibe overall and good seating. They've also added a separate section for families, which is great. We ordered Chicken 65 and Mutton Biryani. Chicken 65 had way too much food color, which was off-putting, doesn't seem like chicken but paneer Mutton Biryani was letdown. It just had the aroma -- mostly from saffron -- but absolutely no flavour, no taste. Not even basic salt. The only thing that had any actual taste was the mirchi ka salan that came with it. You can't taste the biryani without this. The hype about the biryani being like Hyderabadi wedding-style is just that -- hype. Nowhere close to the real thing. We also tried the dessert, Mango Malai. Honestly, there was nothing good about it either. Pretty bland and forgettable. Prices are definitely on the higher side, though the quantity seemed decent. Overall, the place looks good, but the food doesn't live up to the expectations. THE HYPE OF REAL HYDERABADI WEDDING STYLE BIRYANI ISN'T REAL

Tried their (Mutton Biryani) and (Chilli Loose chicken) - absolutely amazing! The biryani was one of the best I've ever had - flavorful, aromatic, and perfectly cooked mutton. The chicken was super tender and packed with flavor. Highly recommended for biryani and spicy food lovers

Late night Sehri (upto 3am i am told) availability a plus point here. Must have the delicious Khichdi, Khatta, Papad. The famous Bheja fry and Kheema. All dishes were delicious, hot, and non-spicy like we wanted. Justifies the price. Naans served could have been served hot and hence the 4 stars.

We had 4 items in dinner after waiting for 20min for a table with some expectations. 1. Thread chicken- it was good but not that great. 2. Achari chicken- it was lemony taste never ate such flavour, disappointed. 3. Mutton zafrani biryani- ok ok taste. 4. Apricot delight- not worthy. Overall- items are expensive but not worth the price and not that great taste. Satisfied with the service. Congested car parking area.

All the appetizers were excellent, but the biryani wasn't available when we arrived. We had to wait around 15-20 minutes for a table, and the waitstaff seemed disinterested in serving us . My recommendations : Thread chicken and mutton starter

Went for Sehri. Difficult to find table had to wait for 20 minutes or so. Very difficult parking as well at the basement. However the food was good. Had gurda fry and bheja fry with roti. Both were delicious and plenty of it. Then had khichdi which also had generous quantity if rice along with khatta, achaar and papad. Khichdi was also awesome. Finally had some seeet rabdi fruit pudding. The taste of curries is comparable with Nayaab and khichdi was also on par with Ruman. Service was quick too. Overall a nice place.

This beautiful restaurant is located on the 3rd and 4th floor of the building. Food was good and served with a smile. There is a lift, but as it was crowded we took the stairs and it was a horrible sight. Parking is available in the basement. Payment via cash card and upi is accepted.
