The biryani was amazing and the apricot delight is just wow . The main highlight tho was their service , they were very attentive and helpful. They have ground floor and a higher floor seating reserve a seat prior if you want to skip waiting. P.S.: most of the main course items quantity are for 2 persons . Prices are a bit on the higher end but worth it.

Spicy Venue is on my Top 5 must visit restaurants in Hyderabad for nice Andhra Food. Am a reguLar visitor since 20 years and this place has never disappointed me. During my recent visit, I enjoyed these wonderful delicacies- Chicken Manchow Soup Korameenu Chepala Vepudu Mutton Kheema Balls Garelu with palli chutney Aapam with Andhra Kodi Koora Mutton Kheema Biryani Curd Rice Apricot Delight #MysticalFoodie

Its one of the oldest restaurants in Junliehills, Hyderabad. Very famous for Andhra style non veg items. If you visit on weekends you have to wait for an hour minimum for seating. There are must try items like Kheema balls, MLA potlam biryani, royyala iguru, egg iguru and apricot delight. Service is good. Ambience is looks older as it's from ages. Parking they have wallet parking. Location is easy to access.

The best, best, best thali I have had in Hyderabad ! I went with little expectations but the place was delightful. The thali they serve is top notch! We also tried the spicy fish thing and chicken wings. Those were also super yummy! A must visit for all the thali lovers! Also try their apricot delight.

The Spicy Venue: Expensive Venue The ambience look mesmerising from outside but inside its just house converted to restaurant. The service was good but wait for order is like SSR movie update very late. We have tried: 1. Loose prawns:2.5/5 - Very less quantity and taste was just okok 2. Special chepa vepudu:3/5- Even tasted good but not worth that price 3. MLA Potlam biriyani:3/5 - Most hyped but its just very average. The quantity was les for 2 persons. And the taste was very bland. 4. Mamasam iguru:5/5- The salaar of this menu. The best and all time fav mutton dish that you will never ever try. The pieces were very well cooked and that gravy was finger licking good.#MustTry 5. Lassi:3/5- More sweet and costly, less quantity. 6. Apricot delight:10/5- Beware of trying this as you will get addicted and can't stop having it#MustTry The there are certain drawbacks such as the quantity to price they charged was very very less and they haven't mentioned the prices in the menu when asked they said it's marketing strategy. It's clearly loot customers.

Our dining experience was absolutely unforgettable, a culinary journey that left us thoroughly impressed. It all began with a warm, hearty bowl of soup that set a comforting tone for the evening. The starters were a delightful parade of flavors, starting with loose prawns that were fresh and perfectly seasoned. The chicken lollipops were succulent, with just the right amount of crunch. Apollo fish, a standout favorite, dazzled us with its savory, well-balanced spices. Moving on to the main course, the butter chicken was nothing short of spectacular, with its rich, creamy sauce that paired wonderfully with the soft, freshly baked naan. The potlam biryani was a fragrant masterpiece, offering a perfect blend of spices and texture. We concluded our meal with a sweet note, indulging in the apricot delight that was both refreshing and decadently satisfying. Overall, it was a dining experience that tantalized our taste buds and left us eager to return for more. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable meal!

I went here by seeing the reviews and tried theirs veg meals, and there is nothing great about it. You can't go wrong when it comes to Dal served in veg meals, and they were terrible with that. I would never go to this place again, all other dishes were pretty average.

Sindhusha Devi Parimi

Spicy Venue in Hyderabad definitely lived up to the hype--especially the apricot delight, which was every bit as amazing as expected. The ulavacharu biryani had a rich, earthy flavor that really stood out, and the boneless biryani was flavorful and well-balanced. Great mix of spice, aroma, and generous portions. A solid spot for anyone craving authentic Andhra-style food with a few standout specialties. Worth a visit just for that dessert alone!
