Ulavacharu Kompally

We went on a Saturday evening for dinner. Resturant was just 50% occupancy. We picked our place. We picked menu card ourselves as no one came to wait. Food was ok taste. Chicken starter pacha mirchi was bland. It was tipped with green chilli piece. Very small pieces. Quantity was bad for the price paid. Ulvacharu biryani, I was tasking it for first time. It's ok no comments on that. Disaster was Apricot delight. It was just plain vanilla or pineapple cake topped with sweet cream. We had pineapple pieces in that. Caution - please check ur bill before u pay. I was handed a bill which was not consumed by me. Then when asked he just flipped a bill from his pocket. That too was wrong. I paid deleting that additional bill amount. They did no accept Zomato pay too.

These days, the quality of food and service isn't as good as it used to be. Dull atmosphere with dull staff and dull food. The restaurant is empty on Sunday evening. Even with 5% occupancy the wait time is too high. We waited for almost an hour. A/C is not working effectively. Above all, for the same item which I had a few months back, the taste was totally different. It was a disaster.

Alert Alert alert......NO FRESH FOOD SERVED, don't go by reviews, they don't match the the service nor food. Service: was disgusting, apart from one lady who served food, we have to search for them on the floor, there were instances were we have to get up and call them to table. The guy wearing checks shirt, supervisor pretends as if he is not hearing us, which makes you super angry, why are you even there ?? Food : ordered the first item on non veg starter chicken, konaseema vepudu, which was spicy, good but not hot, chicken quantity was less too, it was simply tossed in masala, heat did not even reach the meat. Korramenu fish fry: this was made ages ago and was served us later, clearly evident that it was not fresh, can taste only the masala. Mutton ghee roast : no ghee on it and neither it was roasted, bamboo chicken was the worst. Veg Manchuria was fine. Veg soup was also fine. Godavari prawns was just boiled prawns mixed with masala and served, not good at all, ulvacharu biryani was full of masala, but taste was okay, never tasted like ulavacharu though. Nelluri chepala Pulusu was fine but it's not actual Nelluru chepala Pulusu, then why that name? Fish piece in it was so hard that it could break a glass easily, I am ready for a test. I dint even give chance for deserts, I have seen people yelling at waiters for quality of food served. My heart Broke after wasting 1000 rupees on korrameenu vepudu, waste, absolute waste. Don't go by pictures of celebs in it, it doesn't match QUALITY AT ALL.

One more authentic restaurant in the surroundings of kompally. Went twice for lunch n dinner with family and tried the following items Chicken lemon coriander soup Chicken manchow soup Veg kothimeera rasam Boneless crunchy fish Apollo fish boneless Kodi vepudu Mokkajonna vepudu Munta mamsam pot biryani Royala vepudu pulao Pachi mirchi kodi pulav full Fresh lime soda Junnu The fish starters and Mokkajonna vepudu were very tasty and crispy. But, kodi vepudu is not up to the mark. The chicken is sliced thinly in circles shape and fried, which can be avoided. The Royala vepudu and pachi mirchi kodi pulao are just awesome. The munta mamsam biryani is so tasty, and the mutton pieces are very juicy n flavorful. The dessert junnu is to die for. It just melts in the mouth and makes us remember our good olden childhood days. The ambiance is a pretty decent, very spacious restaurant with vibrant interiors. The service has to be improved a lot, and the staff are unorganized and very unattentive. We have to call them thrice to serve food. The prices are at par with the quantity they provide. We also got 10% discount as we have paid through swiggy dineout.

The food is great name stands with the food the starters were amazing and the bread woah was so well cooked you should definitely try the garlic naan and also don't forget to try their nalli Gosht pulav it very rich in flavour and aroma just strikes your nose and you cant get out of that until you pay the bill

Worst service l, they served puloa in an open plate. Also, the refresheshment had sugar crystal. Cheap.

The food tastes good and there is a good quantity as well. But it's too spicy. If you are not a spicy lover, then skip this place. This isn't for you. Try biryanis but not pulaos here

I ordered Chicken Fry Piece Biryani Mini from this place and it tasted good. It came along with mirch ka salan and raita which went along well with the biryani.
