NANDHINI UDIPI TIFFINS

There are many hotels in Jagtial district headquarters that serve breakfast. But Udupi is famous for its breakfast, and there are only three hotels in the town that serve breakfast. Although the prices are higher compared to some others, their quality and taste make up for it.

The food at Nandhini Udipi Tiffins is decent but not exceptional. The idlis and dosas are fresh, but the sambhar lacks depth in flavor, and the chutneys feel a bit watered down. Service is quick, but the staff could be more courteous. The cleanliness of the seating area leaves room for improvement. Prices are reasonable, but overall, it doesn't quite match up to the authentic Udipi experience. A good spot for a quick bite, but not a place I would go out of my way to visit.

The food was so tasty, we have tried bonda, poori, masala dosa and idli. Poori curry was so delicious. But i have waited for more than 20 mins to get poori. Until owner was involved, staff was so lazy in preparing my order. Owner was really a friendly guy. Even in so busy moment, he took time to consider customer first. The allam chutney and poori curry are must.

One of the worst review to make on an Udipi hotel, ever visited by all of us together. Hotel does not serve proper meals, and the dosa looks nice, tastes like Dosa, and Sambar and Chutney are all good. The water used is unhygienic also the place smells a lot. If you take parcel home eg Paratha it will exactly look like a Samosa without Aloo Ki Sabji. Puri is still being served with gravies. Tea is not good. Never tried meals, and you need to pay first. Girls are beautiful, but married like.

Lemon tea: Lemon, honey, mint its one of the best tea I have I feel sugar is more, may be sugar will also be added. Except sugar it's very good. Upma: Rs.25 best in taste. So many ingredients like veerushng, kottimiir, minp gullllu,shng pppu(Peanuts, cilantro, sparklers, Peanut Butter), carrot. Its one of best upma I had.Its hot also. Sambar and chutney average. Poori: poori average its okay

Tiffins and tea spot... Hygeniene and tastes good.. Due to near bustand it's always rush between 8am to 11:30am.. any plate costs stats from 35/- ..

Well it's a small tiffin center near the new bus stand and as any tiffin center it offers various kinds of tiffins like idli, wada, Mysore bajji, dosa, uthappam etc. The quality of food is good and I feel the sambar is the best in the locality. In morning times it's quite busy and you sometimes cannot find any place even to stand. Hope this helps.
