I am here at harivillu and writing my honest review: Food - 1/5 (too spicy, no variety, not tasty) Sports/Games - 3/5 (cricket, volleyball, badminton, adventure sports) Trekking - 4/5 (sunset, nature, mountain climbing) DJ - 4/5 good music all through the night. Overall I am just OK with this due to the worst food and services. Activities are good. If you want to enjoy the stay and nature then carry your own food and drinks.

NOT GOOD, Visited in January 2025. We opted for the tent stay, it's 2 people per tent but only one single person thin blanket was provided,as it gets cold at night they should provide 2 proper thick blankets. They didn't announce the snacks, dinner and breakfast timings on the mike, they didn't even write these instructions on a board or something. WE WERE ABOUT TO MISS OUR DINNER because of the above mentioned reason, we have to keep asking them again and again when will they serve. The food was just okay not tasty. The cycles for cycling didn't have air and few cycles had their tyres broken as well. The adventure activities were good but they didn't have sufficient safety belts,we had to wait for 20 mins for them to arrange more belts. When they take bookings they knew how many people will be coming,hence they should pre-arrange sufficient number of belts The indoor playing area was very dirty and overall the premises were also almost dirty. 2000 per person was COSTLY and services WORST. DO NOT VISIT

We recently visited Harivillu Resorts for a weekend escape. The resort offers both tent camping and room stay options; we opted for the tent camping experience, embracing a nomadic lifestyle without power. Conveniently, there are common charging points at the indoor play area. The resort features an array of activities, including: - Rope courses - Carrom - Table tennis - Cricket net - Volleyball net - Shuttle - Kids' play area - DJ nights - Live pottery - Cycling Upon arrival, we were planned for a sunset view trek. The next morning, we hiked the tiny Pithole Hill for breathtaking sunrise views. While the food was decent, maintenance could improve, particularly in washing plates, which retained oil stains and oiliness. However, breakfast was exceptional. Amenities include: - Stalls selling drinks and water - Ample parking Overall, Harivillu Resorts is an excellent choice for a weekend getaway with friends. *Rating:* 4/5

The partial rain day might be a factor affecting this bad review, but here it is TLDR: - Location: Okay, but Meh. - Logistics and Equipment: Everything is old now and not maintained - Food: Atrocious, seemed sour / day old - Staff: Welcoming Arrival: The moment I stepped out of our bus, a gush of poop smell rushed in and there were muddy areas due to rain everywhere. From that moment, I knew, It was not gonna be nice. It was hot, humid and smelly. The resort: Very badly maintained, things are old, rusty, unclean, smelly. Food was just pure trash. If there are no other resorts here, better not go as it will leave a bad impression on Ananatagiri hills. Even for the activities the secure harness did not feel secure, Motorbikes that don't work. The lake view - better to just see from far, nothing if you go to the spot. The only redeeming thing in my journey was when we were returning from the resort. Outside the resort there was a view point which was cleaner, fresh, cooler so that you can enjoy the great view.

It's been a while but I will write my review as it's was terrible experience. Very disrespectful staff 1. No one to receive, not welcoming at all 2. Room stinks 3. Very poor service 4. No common sense to staff 5. Nikhil is useless he did even there in the Venue, if I ask staff, they said he is not available 6. Everyone behaves like a boss, It's not worth booking 7. Ate with dogs 8. Fake advertising

Today i have visited this beautiful place. Wheather was so satisfying and very clean, food is good, many activities. Trekking is good nice view and good exercise

I love this place and we around 5-6 families have been frequently visiting since last 4-5 years Editing my review from 5 star to 1 star.. Visited yesterday... 28/12.. No fire where family tents were placed and left out in the cold. Were asked to go to place where fire was and sit with kids Family tents used to be in square with good space and fire in middle. Now they are in row sitting in each other laps very close tables. We can easily smell and listen what other tables are doing Melodies Live music replaced with loud meaningless DJ... right in front of where families sit and bachelor places were with their own music and fire places. Felt very uncomfortable... took a new family along with us this year and literally felt embraced Breakfast was bad.... It is going commercial please bring back old native style..

The tents are located deep inside the entrance, 1 km from the entrance. We have asked to show the tents but they didn't allow us inside, only after payment of 8k for 1night Non-AC cottage they have told that they would allow to see the Cottages/tents. It is only good for Family or a group of Friends but not for a single couple.
