Hotel Sri Raghavendra Udipi veg

A South Indian Tiffin place that is right on the highway, that we have made our regular go-to when we drive from Hydebrad to Vijayawada. The sambar that is served with the tiffins is what keeps us coming back here. What I've ordered: Vada - just the way I like it, crunchy on the outside and soft and steaming on the inside Idli - good and warm Puri - the curry is great, but a little too masala for me, but the puri was nice and fluffy Onion Dosa - was quite good, filled with onions and chilis Rava Dosa - was good, however the time I had it didn't have enough salt, so I couldn't really have the full experience Tea - really enjoyed it and now we order it all the time Coffee - it is filtered as advertised, rare and surprising, was strong and not too sweet There is a family sitting on the inside, for those of us that require sit-and-order, but they also have a self-service station, where you can get food and eat at the standing tables right outside. They also have an elderly gentleman sitting and selling snacks that we always get tempted and purchase for our travel. The parking lot is abundant, and enough even if they are running full. Highly recommend this place, even though it's a little further than the other places off of the ORR, but the wait is worth it!

Not like other Udipi restaurants. Located in vijayawada highway near Batasingaram. While going to vijayawada you can find in left side only.Need to improve much in all areas like hygiene, taste and atmosphere. Cost is like Udipi ambience is not matching. I recommend that if you have only an option go for it. Parking is available and seating is available. The only concern is that when you spent 500 for tiffins here look at other options.

The intrcity bus stopped here. This place has great ambience and it also has washrooms both for men and women. The bus bought us here during closing time and so we could not taste any good dishes, almost all the specials could not be made since the staff is trying to shut down the restaurant at 11pm. But one big flaw is that the restaurant is vegetarian. I missed the special tomato dosa and kala dosa. I could not even get tomato bath. But I got some mushroom noodles. The icing on the cake is that I got goli soda here.

If you are a pure vegetarian and looking for a quick bite after crossing bata singaram towards vijayawada, I suggest to stop by. Uttappam was very good. We had poori plain dosa and uttappam. Taste was good. It also offers AC seating and also offers South Indian Lunch. Overall I recommend Sri Raghvendra Udipi

Very neat & good maintenance , quality & hygiene food.

A decent highway stop for good udipi food. The popularity of a highway restaurant can be judged by the number of people stopping for a break. And this one had surely a lot of them Good dosa, idli, wada, bonda and tea.

This hotel has a contract with Intrcity bus travels and they insist passengers to eat here only. The food quality is worst that the veg fried rice (Rs.200) we ordered was cold, stale one topped with raw vegetables and a bad smell came from it the moment we took one bite. Then informed the cashier about this bad food who first refused to hear but when we forced him to eat it, he agreed that it was stale and requested us to order something else for it. Then we ordered a parotta set (Rs.65) which was also cold, and hard to chew which also was an old one and they didn't even bother heating and giving it. On top of all they never gave a bill to any of these. It was 9.30 PM and everyone was hungry and didn't have any option to eat anywhere else. Never ever eat at this hotel.

We had stopped by at this restaurant for breakfast, and entered the family section. Its very well maintained, including the washrooms as well. After we freshened up, we called for a few items that were available on their menu --- Idlis, Wadas, Dosas, Tea etc. and their service was very prompt.. our meals arrived in less than 5-mins. Definately recommended to check it out..
