Chutneys

Once upon a time, Chutneys was our go-to place. Every family occasion, every visitor to Hyderabad--friend or relative--we'd bring them here. But a few years ago, I noticed the chutney's quality starting to decline, and we eventually stopped visiting. As a chutney lover, that experience left a bitter taste, both literally and emotionally. Recently, driven by nostalgia, we decided to give it another try and came down with our family. Unfortunately, the state of the South Indian food remained the same--stale chutneys lacking freshness and flavor, with everything tasting more or less the same. We then decided to try the North Indian food, and to our surprise, it was quite good. The spring rolls, garlic naan, and mixed veg curry were all enjoyable--three stars for that alone. However, I've been requesting for years, both online and offline, to bring back steel glasses and stop serving tiny plastic Pep bottles. At least it should be optional. But, It feels like feedback is simply ignored. The silver lining is always the filer coffee. I guess that's why we keep coming back!? Dear owner, so many people hold fond memories of your brand. Please take a moment to revisit what's being served now--it still has the potential.

The food here tasted so so good! We've ordered pongal which was so delicious after which we went it for ghee karam idly which just melted in our mouths. The 70mm dosa was okayish to be honest, but apart from that everything else was spot on. The ambience and service were too good.

Excellent.... The staff... The service... The privacy maintained by the waiters while approaching.... Everything is at top notch.... I thought that the price is higher... But, It is crisp.... Not high and not low.... Exactly at the mark....

This restaurant has hands-down served me the best South Indian food I've ever encountered. The quality of the dishes was exceptional, with authentic flavors and a delightful presentation. However, what truly sets this establishment apart is the unparalleled level of service. Staff was very attentive and shown proactiveness in terms of service! Every dish has unique taste! Ghee Karam Idali is must try dish here!

Premises may be maintained well and neat still. Washrooms and corridors are not well maintained. Charges are premium, but that doesn't show up in the restaurant maintenance.

Great food. Authentic filter coffee, tuguru idly, 70mm dosa. Ample re plenishment of sambars. very pocket friendly only 750/- for all these.

Ordered thali, curries are not that great in taste. They should improve quality of food for that price range. Breakfast all items are tastes good.

True to name the chutneys were good...! But tiffins that we had were average! The rava dosa was under cooked and with less salt.
