Mahalaxmi, Aliganj - A Mixed Experience Visited Mahalaxmi in Aliganj recently, and I must say, the ambience is quite pleasant . The place is well-maintained, with a comfortable seating arrangement that makes dining a good experience. The staff is polite and well-mannered , ensuring that customers are attended to promptly. Coming to the food, the taste is absolutely delicious . The flavors are well-balanced, and the presentation is appealing. Whether it's the North Indian thali or the sweet delicacies, they do justice to the traditional flavors. Worth a visit for a satisfying meal! However, there's a major drawback . If you happen to take a look at the backdoor storage area, you might reconsider buying a water bottle from here . The hygiene standards in the storage section are questionable, and it's something the management should seriously work on. While the dining space is well-kept, what goes on behind the scenes should also meet the same level of cleanliness! But if hygiene in storage concerns you, you may want to think twice before ordering packaged items. Hope they improve this soon!

Mahalaxmi Sweets and Restaurant in Aliganj is a 100% vegetarian that offers a complete dining and snacking experience under one roof. We recently dined in at the restaurant section upstairs and tried their Chinese menu--including Pecking Soup, Fried Rice, and Manchurian--and I must say, it was absolutely good. The flavors were bold, the preparation was spot-on, and it didn't feel like the usual toned-down veg versions of Chinese dishes. The ground floor is where the action continues. There's a well-stocked sweet counter offering a wide variety of traditional Indian sweets--we sampled a few, and they were fresh, rich, and delicious. Outside the main building, there's a separate chaat and pani puri counter, which was okay but nothing exceptional. You'll also find a dedicated counter for jalebi and another for kulfi falooda, which adds to the charm and variety of the place.

Nice place, good options for sweets and chats as well. Jist opposite Tamil Nadu Dosa is another good option for south indian dishes

Terrible experience! We ordered a thali, hoping for a decent meal, but ended up waiting an unreasonably long time. After finally receiving the food, what we got was far from acceptable. Instead of the promised variety, the thali only had plain potatoes as the main dish - seriously disappointing! To make matters worse, *WE FOUND AN INSECT IN THE FOOD!* Absolutely unhygienic and unacceptable. When you expect a proper meal, the last thing you want is to spot a bug on your plate. The delay, the sub-par food, and the complete lack of hygiene ruined our meal. This place needs serious improvement in both service and cleanliness. Would not recommend to anyone!

No parking place. It's opp Tamilnadu dosa. But u can park roadside. If there is space. Chaat taste is average but they wore gloves so it's hygienic. Lot of option for sweets/mithai. Tried 7-8 varieties.. all were ok. They have 4-5 tables outside n you hv to take coupon for chat that is outside.

Now better setup than earlier...very cool environment in the restaurant...

Very bad experience We bought 4 kullhad hot kadhai kesariya milk from this shop,and lot of water mixed in it It was totally waste of money, i felt like I was drinking hot water only I won't recommend it to anyone
