Customer Reviews & Testimonials
Service 3/5: Service was average. You have to call the people to get everything. They wouldn't come to ask anything. Seating 1/5: They had put some extra chairs from outside. Chairs were uncomfortable and the table only had place for two plates. Hated it. Food 2/5: It was Mexican theme the day I went. I didn't like the Mexican food. Indian food was equally bad. There were very few options. Only soup and dessert were a saving grace. There was no icecream or seasonal fruits. Ps: I have been to Taj Bangalore and it is miles ahead of this.

My recent sojourn at Sahib Cafe within the confines of Taj in Lucknow left an indelible impression. The ambiance, a confluence of elegance and sophistication, cast a spell of enchantment. The buffet, while not an extensive odyssey, presented a curated selection. The starters, notably the Aloo Chat and Pani Puri, proved to be delectable gustatory delights, a symphony of flavors. However, the zenith of the gastronomic journey encountered a nadir during the main course. The mutton, regrettably, was bereft of the anticipated piquancy, falling short of the culinary prowess expected in a city renowned for its gastronomic delights like Lucknow. Yet, the culinary denouement regained its luster with a dessert that danced on the taste buds, an exquisite finale to the meal. Beyond the gastronomic odyssey, Sahib Cafe's piece de resistance lies in its unparalleled hospitality--a paragon of service that elevated the entire dining experience. In the cartography of culinary escapades, Sahib Cafe stands as a beacon of superlative ambiance and impeccable service. For those in pursuit of an elevated gastronomic soiree, I ardently advocate choosing from the a la carte offerings, as the buffet may not fully showcase the culinary prowess this establishment undoubtedly possesses. A visit promises an odyssey of sensory delight, where the whispers of ambiance and the embrace of hospitality harmonize into a gastronomic sonnet.
Loved the food and atmosphere. But waiting time intruded the experience.
Had a wonderful dinner at Sahib cafe with fam. The place gives you the royal feel with great ambiance, amazing food and flawless service. I have asked for the special request for Gnocchi aglio olio and they have made it so beautifully& flavourful. Everything is so good and made to perfection starts frm soup, starter & main course .Best part is service as staffs are so well groomed and trained ( upto the Taj standards)
One of my must visit places for dinner when I'm in Lucknow. The staff at Sahib Cafe is extremely courteous. I arrived early for dinner today while the rest of the people were on their way. I was made comfortable right away. I wasn't expected to order anything, but was provided soup just like that while I was waiting because our table attendant, Sh. Sharad said "Mam, you're waiting just like that, I'm not liking it. Please have this soup while you wait." 5/5 for that Taj! The Indian delicacies are unbeatable. Try Galawti Kebabs and Biryani. They also do a mean Margarita Pizza... lovely fresh dough, thin crust etc. I didn't have a chance to order much but I was recommended a nice cocktail- a pineapple martini which was really well made. Do visit.
#lucknow_tccb @tajmahallucknow No words to describe the grandeur, the sublime garden, the soothing splatter of the fountains, the elegance of the inlaid marble and absolutely delicious (and quite an unlimited breakfast) at Sahib Cafe. Ranging from an array of South Indian specialities (masala dosa, idli, vada, upma) to continental (omelettes, French toast with maple syrup), Asian (pan fried noodles) and North Indian (puri-sabzi) - all washed down with a range of fresh fruit juices or masala chai with gur. All the swimming definitely paid off with the reward of a breakfast par excellence! Read more at @the_consultantscookbook on Instagram
If you have a lot of money that you want to completely throw away, then this is the perfect spot in the city! With its terrible service, cold and tasteless food that the chef seems to be preparing at snail speed, and absolutely not worth it prices, this restaurant is perfect for someone who wants to have a perfectly mid time and empty pockets at the end of it. Go taj!! :)))
