Customer Reviews & Testimonials
If you want to have authentic kolkata styled biryani and dine in a great ambience in Noida then this is the place. They also serve oudhi styled dishes. The staff's behaviour is also very polite. Mr. Deepjoy attended us and I really liked his service. Definitely recommended.
This place is close to Noida sector 18 metro station. This restaurant is originated from Kolkata. You may know Noida sector 18's Chowman for its Chinese cuisine. They both have the same owner. Oudh is famous for its Kebabs. We tried chicken reshmi kebab. It was tender and juicy and definitely creamy. We ordered mutton biryani. The quantity was perfect as per price. In Kolkata biryani you'll find potato and egg with Chicken/Mutton piece but at Oudh they don't add potato, rest is there. Do try their aam sharbat made with raw mango roasted on fire. This sherbat was refreshing. The ambience is amazing, one that you can find at any fine dine restaurant. It gives a palace kind of vibe.
Great food and royal ambiance. Must try fine dine place in noida
Hidden in the lively buzz of Noida's Sector 18, Oudh 1590 is my spot when I'm in the mood for some royal Awadhi vibes . It's not over-the-top fancy--just cozy enough with that old-world charm, and the smell of slow-cooked biryani and kebabs hits you right at the door . I've popped in here a bunch of times, so here's my real-deal scoop on the food, the value, and how legit it feels! What I Love * Flavor: Rich, melt-in-your-mouth goodness that's spot on . * Cost: Pretty fair prices for what you get--won't leave you broke . * Choices: Tons of options, whether you're a meat-lover or veggie fan . * Quick Bites: They're fast, which is clutch when I'm famished . What Gets Me * Setting: It's nice but not wow--more functional than fabulous . * Busy Times: Packed hours mean elbowing for space . * Authenticity: Some dishes feel a bit modernized, not fully old-school . My Top Picks Stuff That's Just Yum 1. Galawati Kebab (9/10) * These little beauties melt like butter, packed with spices that dance on your tongue . Paired with a flaky paratha, it's heaven on a plate . 2. Awadhi Handi Biryani (8.5/10) * Juicy meat, fragrant rice, and that slow-cooked magic--it's a hug in every bite, though I'd love a bit more kick . Worth Your Cash 1. Murgh Musallam Combo (8/10) * A whole chicken done up royal-style with sides--cheap for how much you get . Could use a crispier edge, but still a win! 2. Shahi Dahi Kebab (7.5/10) * Creamy, tangy, and oh-so-good for the price . Simple but fills you up right. Feels Like Awadh 1. Nalli Nihari (8.5/10) * Tender lamb shank in a rich, spiced gravy--it's like something straight out of Lucknow's streets . Nailed it! My Verdict Oudh 1590 in Noida is my pick for a hearty, tasty meal that doesn't feel like a splurge . The Galawati Kebab and Nalli Nihari are my go-tos for that Awadhi soul, and the Murgh Musallam Combo keeps my wallet happy. It's not flawless--the vibe could use more sparkle, and some dishes lean a tad fusion--but it's damn good for what it is. I'd slap it with a 7.9/10 . Pro tip: grab their badam sharbat to sip--it's sweet, nutty, and the perfect finish .
My first visit to this outlet and it was indeed special. Why special you ask? They give you a warm welcome, feels at home literally. The helpers, chef and I believe it was either the owner or someone very senior who came and visited our table, politely asked for feedback and left with an affectionate big smile. This is a family friendly place with a beautiful ambience and plenty of sitting area. The service is extremely fast!! Coming to food we ordered galouti mutton kabab with parantha it was a melt in the mouth dish, the idea behind galauti you should not bite it, just that once you have a bite it should melt in our mouth and you should be able to feel all the spices in it. Second was awadhi mutton biryani, it has 2 pieces of mutton and 2 pieces of egg in it. Less spicy, full of flavours and the aroma to die for, I just wish if it had more pieces of mutton (just a wish)..!! Simultaneously we also ordered mutton bhuna paired with tandoori roti, I will say it was okaish sort of, in comparison to the other dish we ordered, expectation were a little on the higher end for this dish. A must try outlet..!!
Beautiful ambience! Its basically a Bengali-Mughal Restaurant with kolkata-origin. For Bengalis - its the best Kolkata biryani in NCR. I repeat BEST Mutton dishes are must try here Finger licking Awadhi cuisine. If you are a vegetarian or Paneer-lover, its not for you!
If one is looking for ambience and ready to pay high price for not-so-satisfactory tiny quantity of food, go here. A Kolkata style Mutton biriyani, though tasteful, with one piece of Mutton, will only serve 1 person, maybe a bit extra. The price jumps rs 200 extra for a second piece of Mutton. Rezala is just a think gravy with some chicken pieces thrown into it. Same with Chicken Chaap. Would prefer a roadside vendor over this taste. Staffs are well mannered but appeared to be helpless to our complains. See walked out with a dissatisfied experience never to go back.
I'm from Kolkata and Oudh has been a fixture in the city's gastronomic map for the past decade. Couldn't resist one night. The Kolkata biryani was as it should be, even though it wasn't a full match. It had one egg, 1 aloo and 1 chicken leg piece. The chicken was tender enough but ever so slightly on the dryer side. 5/5 Love the Qorma. Such a distinctive taste. 6/5 The kabab was a treat; soft, chunky, golden brown appearance, and served on a buttery gravy. 6/5 Value for money : Even though it may not look so the portion size is large the combo is difficult for one person to finish. The prices are much lower than biggane biryani or Behrouz Biryani. Final word : in the Mayur Vihar phase 1, extension, Noida Sector 15, 16, 18 area I used to only recommend Biryani Mahal. Solidly adding this to the list. Second time : The Jhinga Biryani was absolutely gorgeous 5/5. There were atleast 10 prices of chingri in it. The portions were good for 2 people. The Paneer was soft and the gravy flavorful. But it had more oil than is expected from a major brand such as this. The butter nun was soft and aromatic. Third time : The Awadhi Murgh Biryani 5/5 was Always appreciate the handis in which they serve. Portions as always, were very good for a single person.
