Dalchini Restaurant

Dalchini is a formal dining place, with beautiful warm lights, wooden tables, and throne-like plush cushioned chairs. There's a huge glass facade overlooking the Mall Road below; the view is ugly though, as a building is being constructed across the road, which will soon block the view. It's the only place in Almora you can entertain a client or a friend in a formal fashion. The food is largely vegetarian, but there are a few non-vegetarian items. The food is genuinely nice and if you love spicy food, the gravy is easy on the palate and tummy. I ordered an aloo mutter and tawa roti for lunch. There was a chutney and vinegared onions as accompaniments. The vinegared onions didn't look too good, so I returned it and asked for a freshly chopped onion, a request that was complied with. The lunch was delicious and the food tasted fresh. Dalchini certainly has a good kitchen and they try to maintain standards.

Restaurant is in Sunita Suncity Complex. Food: Starters were good in taste , quantity and options available. What disappointed was the main course , ordered three dishes and all were full of salt, chef didn't bother to taste it before serving. The bread items were also very ok.. specially the garlic naan which had uncooked garlic. Ambiance: it has 4 star ambiance very well designed, spacious, clean and with good lighting.. Service: disappointed , the service doesn't match the ambiance..the staff is not much welcoming, don't understand much what is getting ordered... requested for coffee with less sugar but was served sugar with extra sugar.. also they do follow-up service..to check if anything else is required. Accessibility: Located in prime location, parking available with lift Wheelchair Accessible : Yes It's a good restaurant which need some improvement in food and service

Food was not so good.. order took more then 40 minutes to serve and taste was just average. Atmosphere is good. Really feel bad after spending a good amount of money for normal dishes... really .. UNCHI DUKAN FEEKA PAKWAN

Found an insect in my food , the staff was sorry about it but still i feel it's a huge blunder and I can't go there again , it happened today and I'm feeling sick after eating that . Restaurant is responsible for my health in this case .
