Norjin Vegetarian Restaurant[[nor-sbyin-sh-med-z-khng- / ]]

After reading reviews took a chance to try some quick snacks. Ordered honey chilli potato and meanwhile picked a small glass bottle limca from their fridge, took to the sole person handling orders, delivery, kitchen as well as reception. The person opened the bottle and when i was about to drink I thought of checking the expiry date. It was 04/11/2024 (visited on 11th November) took it back to him. He checked and tried to convince that the date is 11th. I laughed and said in that case this expired on 11th April. He murmured something and i left the bottle with him and went to check his fridge all limca was expired product. This was the quality check for the displayed products don't know what do they use in making food items.

During my visit to the Mind Rolling Monastery in Dehradun, I had the opportunity to dine at Norjin Vegetarian Restaurant within the monastery grounds. We ordered the Veg Kothay and Veg Thukpa. The Veg Kothay was average, scoring a 5 out of 10 in terms of taste. However, the Veg Thukpa fared better, receiving a 7 out of 10 rating. The restaurant itself provided a peaceful and serene setting to enjoy our meal. While the food may not have been exceptional, the overall experience of dining at Norjin Vegetarian Restaurant was pleasant and complemented the spiritual ambiance of the monastery.

The place is situated near Buddha temple and is very peaceful. They serve the best chicken mokthuk and hot coffees. I have also tried their crispy chicken and chicken noodles, noodles smelled like egg too much.

Had absolutely delicious meal here - would recommend the chilli potato and every mono on the menu!!

You can get good Chinese food here. Pocket friendly restaurant. Chilly potatoes were fantastic. You can have Chopsey, noodles thukpa, momos. You must try chilly potatoes although they offer less quantity but great tatse. Service is quite fast.

Absolutely delicious restaurant inside the monastery grounds. Highlights were the momos, chilli potatoes and paneer. Excellent value for money.

I recently visited Norjin Restaurant and was thoroughly impressed! The thukpa and chilli paneer were both outstanding, with amazing food quality that truly stands out.

Nice peaceful location. Veg fried rice is recommended if you like something simple yet tasty.
