Pind Balluchi Dehradun GMS Road

Pind instantly brings to mind Punjab and authentic Punjabi cuisine, and this restaurant was no exception. We visited as a group, which gave us the chance to sample a variety of starters and main courses. The ambiance is designed to resemble a Punjabi dhaba, but personally, I wasn't a fan. The random colorful lights felt out of place and a bit odd, though thankfully, the tables had proper lighting, which made dining more comfortable. Now, the food--easily the highlight of the experience. The paneer tikka was probably the best I've ever had--soft, smoky, and elevated perfectly with a squeeze of lemon and mint chutney. The corn tikka was decent but leaned too much on the sweeter side due to the natural sweetness of the corn. The roti was good but not exceptional--I was hoping for softer, fluffier rotis, so that was a bit disappointing. However, the curries were outstanding, with just the right balance of spice and creaminess. One major letdown was the lassi. It had an artificial, almost chemical-like taste and was excessively sweet--not something I'd recommend. Service-wise, the wait time was unexpectedly long, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy. That said, the pricing was reasonable, and the portion sizes were satisfying. Would I come back? Maybe--for the paneer tikka and curries, but I'd definitely skip the lassi.

I recently visited the Pind Balluchi branch on GMS Road in Dehradun, and I must say, I was truly amazed by the taste of the food! The Achari Chicken Tikka was the standout dish I ordered, bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The Chach was equally impressive, refreshing and a great complement to the meal. The restaurant has a charming Punjabi vibe that transports you to a traditional setting. The staff was not particularly interactive, which could be improved for a better dining experience. One of the positives was the ample parking space available, making it convenient for visitors. I got a 10% off on overall bill too!

Not up to the expectations. Food was ok. We were served opened softdrink which had no fizz. Upon complaining they instantly changed and opened a fresh bottle in front of us. Which is appreciated. Staff is polite. I loved their makke di roti . Which was best

Not worth the hype and price.... food taste is below average... no specialization of specific cuisine.... congested spacing of sitting, chilly garlic noodles tasted bland... sarson ka saag had sweetness without providing the detail of recipe.. total spoiler ... neither recommending anyone nor going to visit again

This is the worst restaurant I have visited in recent history. 1. There is big board displayed with today special ability,as soon as I enter and order today speciality they said they have made only small portion. 2.I asked for lukewarm water.The guy told me that they provide lukewarm water only through packed drinking water.I asked him how will you do it,he said he will put packed bottle directly into microwave than I told him it is not safe ,just boil the ro water he said he will boil only packaged drinking water.The water he provided finally was so hot that it's difficult to even hold. 3. I ordered for soup ,it was so pathetic that cups were smelling and chilli was beyond imagination.

Pind Balluchi never fails to amaze you. This new branch in GMS Road is just so perfect of lunches or dinners with friends and family. I visited a week ago and loved all the food that I ordered. Service is good as the staff is well trained and the manager has personal eye on each staff member so that they are dedicated to the customers. I loved their paneer shashlik tikka and mutton biryani the most. Rest dishes were also cooked to perfection. Also, their shorba (both veg and non veg) are my favourite.

Pleasantly surprised! The taste was far better than expected--felt like a homely touch. If this is the standard in such a prime area, then hats off to the team. Keep up the good work!
