The place has potential and with new staff like Rahul and chef Bhupendra things should improve. They took feedback very positively and I hope they implement the improvements soon. The food was okay. We tried the cosmopolitan, veg tandoori platter and farmer pizza. The ambience needs to be spruced up. The menu needs to be updated . They seem to be in the process to do so. The location is very good.

Rumours is a fantastic spot with a cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and exceptional service. The menu offers something for everyone, and the Korean chicken was a standout. This was my second visit to this restaurant, and while the ambiance remains appealing with both indoor and outdoor seating, the overall experience left much to be desired. Ambiance: The setting is lovely, with a pleasant atmosphere, but unfortunately, that's where the positives end. Food: The food was disappointingly average. The cheesy chicken fries were utterly bland, lacking any real flavor. The Farmer's pizza, which should have been loaded with a variety of vegetables, was sparse, featuring only zucchini and onion. To make matters worse, the barbecue chicken wings were not fresh and had an unpleasantly chewy texture. Drinks: The drinks were even more of a letdown. The cold coffee was weak and lacked any real coffee flavor. I ordered the Devil's Frappe, expecting a rich coffee and chocolate drink, but what arrived was a frothy white milk with a distinct coconut flavor. When I inquired, I was told that's how they make their Devil's Frappe. After expressing my dissatisfaction, they simply added a bit of coffee to the mix, which didn't help much. Overall, the experience fell far short of expectations. What we heard about this place was just a RUMOUR--nothing more.

Though the decor leans more towards a discotheque vibe--with massive speakers and a spacious DJ area--the restaurant provides both indoor and outdoor seating options. During our late lunch visit on a quiet Thursday at 4 PM, we had the place to ourselves. The staff, though welcoming and helpful, lacked formal hospitality training, which was evident in their limited knowledge of the menu. However, their warmth and willingness to assist made up for it. The real star of the experience was Executive Chef Bhupinder Singh Rawat, who personally recommended dishes and ensured that everything served was top-notch in presentation and flavor. We started with Ryu-mer Wild Mushroom Soup and Roasted Tomato and Basil Soup, both of which were well-received. The Lamb Kibben was a standout dish--highly recommended. Other highlights included the Mushroom Caps and Ratan Manjusha (Kofta), each offering a delightful blend of flavors. The Pesto Pasta, customized to our preference, was another winner. The real standout was Char Grilled Bhatti Khas Murg with Corn, spinach and herb rice mushroom sauce. Roumours delivered an exceptional culinary experience. If you're looking for great food with a view, this place is definitely worth a visit!

The Paneer Masala was simply divine, with a perfect blend of textures and seasonings. The Dal Makhni was equally outstanding, leaving us wanting more. Our 4 year old also relished the flavours. Beyond the food, the service was impeccable. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the menu, offering great recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes. The restaurant owner adds a warm, personal touch, making every guest feel welcome and valued. To top it off, the dessert selection was nothing short of extraordinary. The bownie was a delightful ending to an already fantastic meal. The best part was everything including brownie was house-made and locally crafted. Whether you're looking for a romantic date night, a special celebration, or just an incredible meal, Rumours is the place to go. We can't wait to return and explore more of their delicious offerings! Decided to go to the place for Christmas dinner. Never had a worse experience in a prettier place. Some issues: 1. Menu and prices online doesn't match 2. Very helpful service staff but the management staff sucks 3. Food menu was so limited 4. Bad jarring music 5. Bad food- something as simple as a pizza 6. Staff can't use credit card machine

You can see the whole mussoorie and city from its rooftop. Food and beverage is a lil bit costly but the ambience and atmosphere is quite good. Must visit for memories
