Absolutely loved the food here! Every dish was full of flavor, fresh, and cooked to perfection. You can tell there's a lot of love and passion that goes into the cooking. What made the experience even better was the owner, such a warm and friendly person, with the kind of energy that instantly makes you feel welcome. He's full of interesting stories that make your time there even more memorable. It felt less like a meal out and more like visiting an old friend. Highly recommend this place come for the food, stay for the vibes! Will definitely be coming back soon.

5/5 stars! I had the pleasure of lunching at The Bong Twist today, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience! The ambiance was cozy and warm, with a lovely Bengali twist (pun intended!) to the decor. But what truly stole the show was the food - oh, the glorious food! I opted for the bengali thali & Mishti Doi (Best in my till date life) , and it was love at first bite! The flavors were authentic, the spices were just right, and the portion size was generous, to say the least. The service was top-notch too - friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable staff who helped me navigate the menu with ease. Overall, I'm so glad I stumbled upon The Bong Twist! If you're a fan of Bengali cuisine (or just looking to try something new), do yourself a favor and swing by this hidden gem. Can't wait to come back and try more of their delicious offerings!

Probably the best place in Dehradun to have Bengali food. We had chicken thali there and loved it totally. Unfortunately, it seems they don't get much crowd. Would request everyone visiting Dehradun to try the bengali cuisine here.

The Fish Curry I tried was a bit salty, and while the flavor was good, it wasn't quite perfect. The atmosphere was another letdown. The restaurant felt quite dull and lacked energy--there was no one else there except for us, which made the experience feel less lively. The ambiance could definitely use a boost to make the dining experience more enjoyable. Service was okay, but a bit slow. The staff was polite, though, and the restaurant was clean. However, considering the pricing, I felt the value for money wasn't quite there, especially with the quiet and somewhat unwelcoming environment. Overall, The Bong Twist has potential but could use some improvements in both ambiance and food consistency. It's worth trying if you're craving Bengali food, but I'd recommend managing your expectations.

Ohhhhh...what a great discover by me... This place is now one of my best restaurant choices...the vibe...the organization...and the presentation makes us feel home...we tried many item of theirs...ilish paturi...chingri malaikari and the masala crab gave us that authentic taste of our very own Kolkata...and meet there the owner..he is a Bengali too . amazing meeting it was..thanks to him..for opening this restaurant and for giving us the best experience of Bengali food in dehradun.. whenever will be in dehradun I will must must visit there ...
