Uss Da Dhaba

We had dinner and just went on the basis of good reviews on Google. Mind is thought hotel is not very big, 10 table with reasonable staff. The food was really yummy and tasty. Everything we had like Chaap, Vegetables, parathas, kddh'ii caavl, Sikanji soddaa all very tasty and yummy. I had Kheer at the end and was so tasty that in spite of full tummy I had one more KHEER. Above all food was reasonably priced also.

I had an amazing experience at this place! The owner is incredibly friendly, and the staff provides excellent service. They truly go above and beyond to make sure you feel welcomed and taken care of. Highly recommend for anyone looking for top-notch service and a great atmosphere

My Smoking Tawa Rating: Ambience: 3/5 Taste: 3/5 Price: 4/5 Overall: There are several restaurants with the name 'Uss Da Dhaba" in Dehradun. This one is located at 3, Court Road, Opposite the District Court and about 1km from Dehradun Railway Station. There is another one (similar name) just a few shops to it's right, which looks shabby. The location is central, however, during the day it's jam-packed, also very crowded after 8 pm near dinner time. Parking is non-existent, except for a little road side parking for 5 to 6 bikes opposite the restaurant. There is limited seating and the tables and benches are a bit cramped. The interior is clean and recently renovated. I ordered the Patiala Thali, which costed Rs. 169 and the order arrived within 5 minutes. The thali contained veg biryani, kadi pakora, chole, kadai paneer, palak kofta, raita, kheer, some salad along with 1 paneer kulcha and one aloo kulcha. The kulchas were like stuffed tandoori rotis. Filling enough for one person, but on the downside they don't offer any refills. Chole & Kadi was very less in quantity, the kadai paneer had just one cold piece of paneer. The kofta was not great at all. The kulchas were the best item. Food was average in taste, nominal in price, but not exceptionally tasty. This is a pure vegetarian joint, so non-vegetarian foodies - prepare to be disappointed.

After finding this dhaba on Google maps, we made our ways to there. It was very busy. We ordered plain rice, mixed veg, dal makhani and lassi. The food was tasty and savoury. The dal makhani was very average. The lassi was excellent. The place has many affordable options starting from 40. The thali's are great options to go for. Had lunch here on 31.03.2025. Had a train to catch at the Dehradun station at 5pm. Found this place through the glowing Google reviews and went here along with my dad to have lunch before catching the train. The dhaba is very good and fitting of the good reviews. There was a good number of customers, but it wasn't crowded. My dad and I had the king thali, priced at a very reasonable Rs. 100/- and it included 1 Missi roti, 1 butter naan stuffed with potato, palak kofta, chole, salad, rajma and some rice, and a small dish of kheer. The food was fresh, tasty and wholesome. Extra salad, chole and rajma are served for free upon asking. Even a bottle of water having MRP of Rs.20/- was charged at Rs.15/- only, since the owner said that they have a policy of not making profit on drinking water. The staff is quick and efficient and owner/manager are courteous. Highly recommend it, especially if you're looking for some quick and wholesome food very nearby the railway station.

Great place to have authentic vegetarian Punjabi food in Dehradun. The owners are very generous & the staff is also very good. Must visit dhaba if you need good food in DD.
