Big Ben Restaurant

We went on a trip to Haridwar and just randomly picked this restaurant. It had great food. We tried kashmiri dum aloo, kadhai paneer and butter roti. We also had chai later. The vibe was also nice. Peaceful and quiet atmosphere. It was super affordable too. The bill came out to be only 800 for all the food items. I loved it! Will visit again when we'll be in haridwar.

I had heard it's name a lot in haridwar, decided to try something here. Located 100m away from bus stop n haridwar railway station. It's not worth that hype but an average restaurant. I had tried cold coffee(too sweet) and veg Manchurian (wont try again). Food quality isn't something extraordinary but good enough. Indian style food category here is better. Not something to be added in your bucket list, but if you happen to visit haridwar and see this restaurant, do try and write ur reviews.

Best resturent in Haridwar, tasty food, affordable price and comparatively clean. Thank you uncle for good serving. Strongly recommended.

The food was really tasty, and the atmosphere is also really good, actually I was sick so I ordered khichdi and it was really good plus the heater helped me a lot.

Food is good as well as ambience ...it is hardly 200 meter from haridwar railway station and bus stand...and on main road

I had visited this restaurant with very high expectations, based on the reviews, but the experience of this restaurant was absolutely disgusting. Three horrible things of this restaurant are: 1. There is NO PROVISION to make payment via Google Pay/PhonePe/Credit Card/Debit Card; CASH ONLY. The closest ATM is nearly 800 metres away which more than compensated the wait time for the order. 2. The waiting time is approximately 30 minutes (even when most of the tables were empty) , which is way more than the acceptable limit. 3. The number of staff waiting tables are dreadfully low. The behavior of the waiting staff in the restaurant is unacceptable as well, they gave us the least importance when we arrived at the hotel despite having very few guests. 4. The taste of the food is awful, there is a lingering foul smell of stale cooking oil. Only the ice cream was good because it was not prepared by the hotel. I'd absolutely NEVER visit this restaurant ever again, I'd recommend this restaurant to NOBODY. If you're willing to have a good meal experience, kindly visit any hawker on the streets of Haridwar.
