Welcome Restaurant

Although bearing a board of WELCOME SWEETS, it is a restaurant inside. The seating area is big. The place seems to be popular as it was full to half its capacity during lunch time when we visited in December 2024. It is located near Pant nagar airport. Food is reasonably good but as it happens in Uttarakhand, the choices of Jain food are limited. They say that their Rasmalai is famous but there was nothing striking about the dish. A plate of pasta was about Rs 300. Serving size is big; every single serving can easily be shared between two people. There is ample of parking space outside.

Service and food so poor, I'm really disappointed when I recently visited welcome dhaba. I ordered chicken 65 but they served me Chicken Manchurian which is not good in taste it might be possible that dish stale(basi). it was sweet and boon less I was expecting my order which I ordered chicken 65 but they served another dish. I felt cheated there first time.

As a person who is living in pantnagar. I think this is the only restaurant where half a dozen people have a proper meal and have get-together otherwise in my knowledge no other restaurants near pantnagar university (other than in rudrapur or Haldwani) have that proper place. You can easily find the restaurant as it is in the main road. The staff are nice but sometimes the place is so overcrowded that the staff don't have time to give proper attention to each and every table. Food- I have visited many times here, Some of my non-veg friends like their non-veg menu, About their veg items which I have tried... @Don't waste on money on these items as they are pathetic in taste... 1. veg choupsy, as they don't know what veg choupsy is ... The worst veg choupsy I ever had 2. Items of soya chaap. Big no 3. Veg sandwich(i personally don't like it) but not that bad. @Veg main course is nice so you can try. Veg soup(sometimes it tastes wow,but sometimes too much spices and ginger) @My favourite in their menu 1. Veg crispy 2. Honey chilli potato 3. Ras malai is a must try.

I had the kadai paneer with lacha paratha at this restaurant and it was a real treat! The kadai paneer was flavorful and creamy, with tender chunks of paneer and bell peppers. The spices were well-balanced and the spice level was just right. The lacha paratha was crispy and flaky, with a perfect layering of ghee. The combination of the two was absolutely delightful. My only suggestion would be to add a bit more paneer to the dish, as it was a tad scarce. Overall, the service was top-notch and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommend this dish to anyone craving some delicious North Indian cuisine!

There was a strange stale smell in the food. The employee's behavior was not good and they were arguing without any reason.I was a good customer of theirs but now I will never come here again.I think their staff has changed

Good restaurant and good service, food is very delicious. In my choice it is best in kichha to gorapadao on the way.

Welcome was our go to place for party during university days. Honey chilli potato, paneer tikka masala,kadai paneer, naan, rasmalai, mojito worth trying.Quick service, affordable rates, good ambience.
