Authentic kumaoni food . Served with love . I just loved everything . The food taste reminds me of my dadi k haath ka khana and. I am kumaoni . Everything was very delicious whether it's kadhi , chudkani, pahari raita, mandua ( ragi )ki roti and aloo k guthke . We visited it today for lunch with our group from Noida. Everyone loved the taste . If you are in nainital and want authentic kumaoni khana , pls visit this place.

Small space, you would not find a fancy ambience or seating arrangement. So say so Food does not require any such amenities. What it actually requires is taste and the feeling of cooking and serving. That you are going to truly truly experience here. The cuisine here combines traditional North Indian flavors with unique regional twists. We were 20 people in a group and had lunch and dinner at hilans. If anyone wants to taste the local food then they should must go there!! One of the must-try dishes is the 'Aloo ke Gutke', a flavorful potato dish spiced with local herbs and spices. It's often paired with steamed rice or chapati, making for a hearty meal. Another local favorite is 'Bhatt ki Chudkani', a black soybean curry that's both nutritious and rich in flavor. In lunch I had kadhi chawal that was very tasty and yummy . And in dinner we had Khichdi with different types of chutney, raita, dahi etc

Excellent place to have real food from Kumaon... I just loved it. Service is the same as at home. If you are in Nainital please enjoy home food with real spices...

I am talking about hilans kitchan dm court tallital Nainital. Lady staff is very arrogant. They don't respond about food order. Theire sarvice is also very very poor. Theire charge for food very hight outside of people which are not related to nearest office. I am very disappoint about the behaviour of lady staff.

They serve kumaoni food with a lot of affection and love. I recommend visiting them to taste local food
