Ambience was a bit shady but good food and service . One of the only restaurant with a bar in Nainital mall road. We ordered starters mainly - manchow soup (noodles freshly fried) ,chili corn and chili potatoes were good

Suitable only cheap beer and liquor. Be careful while ordering mid to high range alcohol as the bar tenders and the waiter will serve you cheap and low-end liquor and act aggressively when pointed out. Best avoided

The worst bar one could ever opt. Hospitality 0(zero). Rude behaviour of staff. Forget about sitting on rooftop, you won't be allowed for this , but few others , who pay to waiters would be allowed. Better enjoy in your hotels. We did this only , rather than spoiling the mood...

This place should be called "father's bar". The restrictions will completely ruin your experience. Most of the time, it just felt like quietly having a tiny beer with dad, where you can't smoke around anywhere in the bar, even if you're seated at private space or cabin... You're "allowed" to smoke here, but you have to go to the balcony for that... But wait, you're not allowed to carry your beer with the cigarette, you can go ahead to the balcony and smoke, but you can't have your drink along with it... You'll have to leave your drink and go smoke out in the balcony and come back. Felt like a bad experience. Very narrow minded management, they imply all sorts of boundaries under the name of family restaurant. My suggestion for Payal bar is... "Please manage either a family restaurant or a bar. Please don't try to accommodate two services under one name when you can't afford to let people enjoy themselves.

Hey everyone, these guys are a bunch of creeps who just tell themselves to be professional, but the fact is they are not. The staff is rude, the management is one step ahead of them. My friend was there and they took drinks out of their hands when they wanted seats on terrace. Ridiculous place to dine-in at a hill station like Nainital, these guys shouldn't be allowed to be in service anymore.

Worst bar in nainital. No professional behavior. When told to check the liquor measurement they didn't showed any cooperation and when check they poured less then they told. Very rude staff. Never visiting again.

They are absolute cheats, conmen. I visited with my wife, ordered drinks and sat in a private chamber, covered with a curtain. At the end, the waiter brought the bill, but I noticed he had charged extra, for one beer, that we did not order at all. Probably he felt we were drunk and not in our senses, hence he tried to pull the wool over our eyes. But O brought it into his notice. Then when he got the bill modified, I paid him Rs 750, gave him one Rs 500 note alongwith one 200 and one 50 note. He took it away but came back within minutes, and said that I gave only 250 Rs, I had to give 500 more. I was shocked. I told him that I paid him full amount but he insisted I had not. I started arguing, the manager came and asked me not to create a scene (when they were themselves at fault). I had to pay another 500 Rs. On being asked to check the CCTV cameras, which could prove that I had given Rs 500 in the beginning, they said it's not working. Please don't go there, outsiders. They will Rob you of their hard earned money. They are conmen.

Worst place to go for having good time. Bad attitude of staff and management. No food, only snacks Recommended - sit at room and enjoy rather than going here. Takeaway food from hundreds of restaurants on mall road
