Hotel Neelam Burdwan

A decent near and clean hotel. The rooms are well maintained and timely being cleaned. The hospitality of the staff is very good. The foods are also decent tasty but needs to be more upgraded. Overall, people can prefer this hotel without any hesitation.

Stayed here overnight. The facilities are neat and clean. Place is safe for solo female travellers. The water is hot. Bhardaman took me on a nostalgic trip, some parts reminded me of old Dhaka where I visited 2 years ago. Why I haven't given Neelam 5 stars? My main caevet is that they charged me for half a day extra even if my checkout timing is the same as when I checked in. This is totally unfair one would feel it even more if one is traveling for a month on a budget. Feel ripped off to such an extent that I didn't try their restaurant even once.

Biryani quality is so much degraded in this restaurant,totally disappointed. This must pay attention otherwise it will impact your business.

Food is okay. Ambience is not that good . Intensity of Light was too low that we had to turn our phone lights on sometimes . Also very congested .

The food was exceptional, with standout dishes like the drums of heaven and murgh malai tikka. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. Based on the tariff, I expected the room to be in good condition, but it was far from it. The room was dirty, the AC remote didn't work, and the bedsheets were unhygienic. The bathroom flush was broken, and there was no proper maintenance. I booked the room for 2000 INR, but they didn't even provide a proper bill--just a handwritten one.

Food taste and quality is good but the restaurant's appearance is very average.
