The Second Wife (Multicuisine Restaurant )

Approximately 2km away from Burdwan Railway station. Food quality is good but quantity not sufficient. The behaviour of the staff is not good.

This establishment is my preferred dining option for both lunch and dinner in Burdwan. The interior ambiance is exceptionally inviting, and the romantic background music enhances the dining experience, particularly when accompanied by a close companion. Furthermore, the culinary offerings are consistently delicious and well-prepared, justifying the slightly higher price point. The staff demonstrates commendable professionalism by addressing all patrons respectfully as "sir" or "mam," regardless of age. Overall, it is an exceptional dining experience.

I've been a regular customer of Second Wife for quite some time, and the food quality has typically been fantastic. Although my recent experience might not have been perfect, I'd still rate it a solid 4 for several reasons. First, let me address today's experience. We ordered Dragon Chicken, and it was a bit tougher than usual, not meeting our expectations. The Chilli Garlic Fried Rice was decent, but the Oriental Chicken dish was unexpectedly spicy, making it a bit challenging to enjoy. However, the reason for my 4-star rating lies in the consistent quality of food I've enjoyed in the past at Second Wife. The Kebabs, in particular, have always been a highlight, with their delicious flavors and perfect texture. This restaurant has been a reliable choice for tasty food, and I hope that today's experience was just a one-time hiccup. I'm looking forward to returning for their delectable Kebabs and more in the future.

Food & services are good but please maintain hygiene, we found hair in Masala Kulcha, though it was replaced then and there after asking Waiter but all taste spoiled after watching that peace of hair in my plate. Next time please maintain more hygiene and safety what required while cooking. Those things spoils good moments

Decent food at a place with good ambience and slow staff. Recieved a wrong order but the were polite enough to change it immediately. Has both air conditioned part as well as an open rooftop. Good for a breezy evening. Lack of good music hurts dearly.

The food was not that good to be honest. The ambience was very nice, so the price was also a bit higher compared to the other cafes, so with respect to that the food quality or taste was not up to the expectations. They can and should do better than this. As of now, it's a good one time experience. Might not plan to go again. Overall it's not worth it as of now.

We tried here Butter Naan, Chicken Lababdar, Fish in Hunan Sauce, Dragon Chicken, Dal Makhani, Chilli Paneer, Paneer Kadhai, Chicken Kosha and rice and I will say all the items were equally fabulous and fantastic. The butter naan was one of the best I have ever had, it was a perfection. Dal Makhani was cooked to perfection as well. The dals were cooked finely. All starters and nonveg items were palatable and very tasty!! Our family loved the food and service. UJJAL has been a great server and the service is top notch. Kudos team.

Loved the decor and ambience very much. Food was just ok.. Not matched the price point. I loved their service. An evening snacks there may be value for money.
