I had the opportunity to try out biryani from Shiraj outlet in Ajaynagar, Kolkata few days before trying out from this outlet. This unsurprisingly doesn't taste as good. Biryani is light, as Shiraj biryani is supposed to be, but doesn't get the flavour/aroma right.
The place is especially awesome for mughlai and biryani dishes. The kebabs are too good. They are tasty, juicy, tender and delicious. Other dishes are also delicious in taste. Nice
Last week we visited Durgapur and out of curiosity I searched for the best restaurant in Durgapur. I scrolled many restaurants on Google maps and finally got what I wanted "Shiraj". The Biryani was awesome; the taste was like the usual Kolkata Biryani style. Chicken, potato, egg all were there. We also ordered Tandoori Rooti and Chicken Kadai. Every food item was really tasty and delicious. There was also online payment option available and the restaurant is totally air conditioned. Thank you "Shiraj" for this wonderful experience. My parents were really happy for your hospitality.
Great Biryani. Rolls are popular as well, but if you order rolls only, you can't sit inside. Update: loved the Chicken Reshmi Kabab and Chicken Masala.
Quality is really good and price is also less compared to other restaurants. Mutton biriyani at 170 is only possible. At shiraj. I love this place ambience is also good.. And quite pocket friendly. I will definitely recommend to everyone who is planning to visit durgapur.
One of best resturant in City Centre, Durgapur. Here you dine in, take out, delivery. Here you find Biriyani, rolls, kebabs, parantha etc. Here you dine inside the resturant and also open air sitting. Parking is available. Washroom also available. Zomato & Swiggy available. The quality of the food is very good. Price is ok. Just come and eat here. It's just awesome.
A good place for family and casual dinner . Price of food is much affordable. And quality of product is realy good. Service is quite fast (number of customers may impact). Overall a good place Saahi cuisine.
Foods are delicious but the ambience could have been better. They are specialized in Biriyani. Apart from their signature item, chicken reshmi kabab, chicken chap, mutton rezala and chicken roll are amongst the must try items.
