Review for Absolute Barbecue, Ruby More, Kolkata We recently arranged a dinner party at Absolute Barbecue, Ruby More to celebrate the Annaprasan of my son Arik and the birthday of my elder son Advik, and I must say it was an excellent experience. First of all, the management was superb--very cooperative, well-organized, and attentive to every detail, which made the event smooth and enjoyable for us and our guests. The food was absolutely awesome--fresh, tasty, and far better in variety and quality compared to other buffet restaurants. The menu was well-balanced and generous, offering something for everyone. It's a perfect place for small gatherings. The ambiance was lively yet comfortable, ideal for a family function like ours. Overall, I am very happy and fully satisfied with their service. Highly recommended for anyone planning a cozy, enjoyable celebration with great food and great service.

I have been there a couple of times. The first time my experience was decent. Food was tasty and fresh. But the last time turned out to be quite a disappointment. Food was tasteless and dry grill items were served to us. Main course was barely anything special. I used to enjoy their starters but this time it was just not good at all.

The place was quite spacious and clean, adding to the overall pleasant experience. The spread was impressive, with a diverse selection of delicious dishes that catered to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The live grill on the table was a fun and interactive touch, allowing us to customize our skewers just the way we liked. The quality and freshness of the food were top-notch, and each bite was a burst of flavour. Plus, there was no limit on the quantity of food intake, so we could savour as much as we wanted! Special shout-out to the dessert counter - the variety of sweet treats was the cherry on top of a fantastic meal. We left AB's Absolute Barbecues with satisfied appetites and happy hearts. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

I had visited today this place which is one of the ABS chain outlets in Kolkata, and while the ambiance felt familiar, I noticed a slight improvement in the taste of some of their starters. However, the real stars of the show were the main courses! The Basanti Pulao was exceptional, and the Handi Mutton was truly outstanding. Among the dishes I tried, these two stood out for their rich flavors and perfect execution. Overall, a great dining experience!"

AB's at Ruby Crossing has completely redefined my expectations for barbecue buffets in Kolkata. Seriously, this place is a carnivore's dream come true, but even if you're not a huge meat-eater, they have a surprisingly good selection of vegetarian options too. My friends and I went last weekend to celebrate a birthday, and from the moment we walked in, we were impressed. The atmosphere is lively and energetic - definitely a place for a fun gathering. It was packed, which is always a good sign, but we had made reservations (highly recommended!) so we were seated promptly. Let's talk about the food. The sheer variety of grilled items is mind-boggling. They have everything you can imagine, from the usual suspects like chicken tikka and seekh kebabs to more exotic options like rabbit, squid, and even duck. I'm a huge seafood fan, so I immediately gravitated towards the grilled prawns and fish. The prawns were perfectly cooked - succulent, juicy, and bursting with flavor. My friend, who's a bit more adventurous, tried the rabbit and said it was incredibly tender and flavorful. He's still raving about it! They also have a live grilling station where you can watch the chefs prepare your food right in front of you, which is a nice touch.

Good place to enjoy buffet.... The buffet was good and the main course was delicious... The mutton kasha and chicken biryani was the standout options... I felt the starter could be more tasty...

Visited first time with so many expectations but the place didn't meet up to it Staffs were very good, courteous and well behaved, the starter section is good though the portion wasn't that great The appetizer part was okayish but the main course was a great disaster, didn't like the taste at all The dessert section came for the rescue, it was nice But seriously disheartened with the spread and the taste overall Comparing to other buffet options I would suggest to focus on their spread and taste once for their betterment purpose

I really liked the hospitality of all the staffs. I was along with my husband and my kid, they served the grilled items which were spicy, they noticed themselves that my child was not able to have the spicy grilled items, so they offered to serve the non spicy items too for my child so my child has enjoyed with us equally. They all were constantly checking whether we were liking what we are served or we want modifications. Food was good but their hospitality made our anniversary worth remembering.
