Customer Reviews & Testimonials
Amazing food but quantities were disappointing, but I wouldn't want a well known restaurant right in front of a waste dump. Service towards non Bengalis was really poor. Overall a 3. Just overhyped for no reason.
Food is amazing and the Bengali cuisine are excellent and taste was very good
Sad to say very poor food quality. We had Rice, Dal, alu fry, Mutton gravy, Vetki Paturi. All foods had smelling bad. Ambience also poor smell. Don't know who go there. We didn't expect from bhojohori manna branch.
Best place to go for yummy authentic bengali food, places across kolkata have small set ups, not the best for family or a romantic meal but you won't be dissappointed by the food, finger licking good and heavy food,
Few days ago we decided to visit this outlet at Kasba, Ruby hospital area because we came here for some work. This outlet is basically not suitable for us,friends, family or get together. @BECAUSE@ AMBIANCE- Totally bad experience. Worthless, smell, Stuffs, visitors. The funny thing was there only some few items available(All items double/triple cooked/not fresh food). Not all what is shown in menu. We ordered, 1)RICE : Normal 2)YELLOW DAL : Bad(No dal/Look like yellow water) 3)ALU VAJA : Good n Crispy 4) VHETKI PATURI : Good but not fresh 5) CHICKEN DAKBANGLOW : Sweet in taste but OK. 6) MUTTON KASSA : Tottaly worthless taste (Burning smell/BAASI) Price is not reasonable. Costly. All this bad food not deserve this cost. Thank you. Requesting all friends visit Bhojohari Manna's other outlets.
Bhojho Hari Manna- a age old name in Bengali cuisine. I had food over here quite a number of times...I have forgotten the count. Food out here is average, some items are good, price is moderate & ambience. Well.. not anything great. Today I will review the Thali that they kept in their menu during the Pujas. I had the MAHA SAPTAMI r mahabhoj at their Esplanade outlet last year. Well , getting food at quarter to Five in the evening is a pleasant discovery to start with. The Thali started with rice, moong dal, Bekti mach r kaalia, Ilish borishali, Mutton, Pulao, Rajbhog , aam doi & Paan. Thankfully, the illish was a good piece of a large fish with egg in it :) Rest all items was standard in their taste. The Rajbhog was also of pure chhana ! The price was Rs 600/-. I will conclude that if you take 3 thalis & share with 4 people, with an additional plate of rice- It is worth it. The standard cutlery was replaced with thermocol plates & bowls to meet the demands. ( At 5PM people like many of us were still having food!) So next pujas/occasion you can try this Thali system & share with an additional person to balance the price. In the city of Bangalore, Bhojohori Manna is a name to recon on due to its superior food quality and complete Bengali ambience. With my cutie, Nidhi this is the place I love coming to as the spacious interior and very comfortable seating arrangement lets one have all the fun together without being bothered. In the menu, they have good Mutton Dakbangla and Labra and Daab Chingri. Truly, Bhojohori Manna restaurant has something unique in its overall ambience and food quality which is otherwise rare.
Quick stop for authentic Bengali food. This outlet is their kitchen or main pantry, from this area they deliver to their outlets nearby.
Don't waste to your hard earned money. Very bad experience, they serve stale food. Each and every food was stale ,they reheated in microwave and served, I think the food was 1 or 2 days old. Gutter smell coming everywhere inside the restaurant . I don't know why they opened a restaurant in such a bad location.
