Cafe Raj 2 by Raj Restaurant Madhyamgram

Nice ambience, AC available in one area, we tried Crispy Chicken Strip, Fish Fry with Chips (French Fry) and Blue Lagoon which were good. Price is reasonable but not all items are available in menu. Nice paintings in wall with decor. Staff behaviour and service is decent. Good for snacks and starter items. Main course is available but we didn't try.

I had the sweet corn chicken soup from Cafe Raj 2 by Raj Restaurant in Madhyamgram today, and it was an absolute delight! This soup is hands-down my favorite - the perfect balance of creamy sweet corn and tender chicken in every spoonful. The flavors were rich, comforting, and perfectly seasoned, with just the right amount of warmth to make it soul-soothing. The texture was spot-on, with the corn's subtle crunch complementing the silky broth. Cafe Raj 2 nailed it with this dish, and I'm already craving more! Highly recommend trying this delicious, amazing soup if you're looking for a heartwarming treat. Will be ordering more in future

Ambiance great. Service was also good . Food was okay . Could be more tasty. I ordered french fries chicken cutlet and fish cutlet. Fish cutlet was not up to the mark . But great place to visit in the evening.

I had very bad experience with their food quality and staff behaviour. Today in terms of 30th March, I have visited this cafe in evening and ordered their combo 1 which contains coffee/tea+french fries+ sandwich (chicken/vegetables)( here I opted for coffee, french fries and chicken sandwich), coffee and peri peri chicken strips. But their chicken sandwich was not fresh at all. The stuffing of sandwich was smelling very bad which clearly showcased that the chicken was not fresh but still the staff denied the fact and tried to convince us by claiming it smell of spices. However, We have complained and rejected to eat that still they didn't deduct the amount of sandwich from the bill. In a nutshell, we had to pay for the food which was not fresh at all and we did not eat. So, think before visiting there.

Raj Restaurant has a good reputation but this cafe lacks behind . I ordered sandwichs , Kathi roll , chicken pop corns , Moglai along with a green tea and non of them were good. They took like 25 to 30 minutes just to serve the green tea (tea bag) ..... some items in the menu were not available.....cheese sandwich had no cheese only sweet corns and chicken sandwichs had boiled chicken only . Chicken pakora instead of chicken pop corn yet tasteless.... over cooked moglai tasteless bahubali egg chicken roll instead of chicken roll . Please don't serve if you can't do it properly. Even with limited customer this is the service and quality of the cafe .

Their "Veg thali" is amazing....

Chicken Sandwich was made with spolied butter and had a foul smell. When I complained about it they said it can happen as they keep butter in the fridge for many days, and charged the full amount.
