Nice environment within sec v. Easily accessible within corporate location. Reasonable rates and a comfortable seating arrangement. Spacious with music and visuals. Cheaper amongst other options in the same area.

Opium is one of the first bars in Kolkata Salt Lake Sector V area. I was a regular there from 2004 to 2016 and loved the casual atmosphere that Kolkata's IT hub employees could enjoy after work. The starter dishes such as Mutton Patiyala, Chicken Senakati, Cheese Chicke Kebab, Tandoori chicken are really awesome. Drinks are reasonably priced. Found the same atmosphere after so many years.

This is a very popular and old place at Sector V, and it is popular among the office person at the area. Located at Sector V near RDB cinema. The place is suitable for a quick hang out and get together for the office colleagues with great food, chilled beer and drinks with slow music at dim lights. They offer various types of foods and drinks options at a suitable price. The place is good and well maintained, staffs behaviour are also good. Foods are good in taste and quality. It is not for kids otherwise the place is awesome for persons like us who wants to spend time with their friends and colleagues with a glass of drinks and foods.

Opium is our go-to place , post work. Food is flavorful. Staff is prompt in their service & attentive. The overall ambiance is quite decent.

Opium has a really unique charm with its retro music and inviting atmosphere. I loved the classic western tunes playing in the background, and it feels like you're stepping into a different time. The food was amazing--really high-quality and delicious. Plus, Dibyendu Da, our server, was fantastic. Friendly and attentive, he made the experience even better. Perfect spot for a relaxed evening

The ambience is quite good and the foods are quite delicious/mouthwatering though bit overpriced. The music is not too loud and drinks are available to enjoy the dine out. I would recommend to try Mix Hakka noodles, Cantonese noodles and pan fried fish.

I've been visiting Opium Bar cum Restaurant for the past three years, and I must say the service here is consistently excellent. The staff is very courteous and respectful towards every customer, which creates a welcoming atmosphere. Even the security personnel exhibit commendable behavior. The food is absolutely delightful, with every dish being a treat to the taste buds. The Mutton Patiala, in particular, is exceptional and a must-try! The ambience adds to the overall experience, making it a perfect place to spend quality time with friends and family. The only downside I've noticed recently is the frequent price hikes, which could be a concern for some. However, aside from that, everything else remains top-notch. Highly recommended!

A great place to gang out in salt lake. Great ambience ,gives you different vibe. Far better than any other resturant in that area. Apart from drinks, the food is great here. Mutton Patiala is must to eat here. Grilled prawns are delicious. Love every time I go here. Never disappoints us. ..in any aspects. Cheers to OPIUM !
