We had gone for a family lunch. The booking process was smooth and since we had a 7 months kid we had asked for a back support seat and a high rise chair for the kid. We were not given the back rest seat and if wanted were asked to wait for 30 mins. The high rise seat for the kid was also given after 30 minutes. The service initially was poor and water being served after 15 to 20 minutes that too after reminding them twice. Now few good things. The food was really good and served hot. At last they also gave us complimentary Firni which was also good. I have been a regular and this is the first time the service was really poor and slow.

When I came in was warmly greeted by waiter Soumen, who escorted me to the seat and explained all menu choice, me being unfamiliar with terminology and stile of cooking Soumen patiently, professionally explained everything in details with warm smile. He recommended me signature dishes Dal Buckara and tandoori chicken. Without shout of a doubt this is the best choices I've ever had in my life, period. Dal was warmly delicious, what a comfort food feeling. Chicken tandoori, Ive never tried previously chicken that literally without exaggeration melting in your mouth. What an experience. On top of that Soumen made it even better by showing interest and asking if I'm comfortable, need anything, feedback for dishes I've order and just have a good chat. Souman deserves a promotion without a doubt. His attitude, work drive and kindness will make him good leader. Overall one of my best experience ever. Thank you Peshawri and Souman very much, I will not forget this.

Had an amazing experience dining with my family! The food was absolutely delicious -- especially the kebab platter, which was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The service was just as impressive. A big thank you to Payel for her warm and attentive hospitality; she really made us feel welcome and taken care of. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Fish kebab and kulfi is excellent. Eating by hand is unique.

We've somehow missed this gem of a place - for years and years of being in the area. I'll have to dethrone Oudh from my pinnacle of fame for kebabs and put Peshawri in the place. The ambiance, the comfort, the sophistication, the staff - it's like a spa day, except with kebabs. Speaking of food - we were a party of 9 so we got to taste pretty much everything on the menu. Spectacular creations were the Tandoori Jhinga (shrimp), Mutton Barrah Kebab, and the Sikandari Raan. Also spectacular were the March Malai Kebab, Reshmi Kebab, and Mutton Seekh Kebab. The Dal Bukhara is a must-try. We got the long list of kebab orders as the appetizer, the dal and raan as the main course with a stack of naans, and then firni and gulag jamum as dessert options. I'd literally be counting days until we return to Peshawri!

The food was disappointing, with even the restaurant's signature dishes failing to impress. Every dish was bland and lacked flavor. The seating was extremely uncomfortable, making it hard to sit for an extended period. Service was good. Never going back for trying their kababs.

Went there with a lot of expectations on Saptami for dinner. The atmosphere is nice and cozy. Their service is really outstanding but the food is terrible. I don't understand how they got such a high rating in all the platforms. I tried the Chicken Malai kebab, Sikandari Rann, Chicken Makkhan, Dal Bukhara and Naan Bukhara. Among these only chicken malai kabab was tasty. Soft and delicious. Sikandari Rann and Naan Bukhara were so salty. The taste of Chicken makkhan was really bad. It tasted so sweet. Among all the restaurants I've eaten in Kolkata this was my worst experience in terms of food. I don't think they can compensate for the terrible taste of food with great service. Would not recommend to anyone.
