Raj Cabin

Raj Cabin in Naihati ( WB) is a well known restaurant here serving mughlai, Chinese, Bengali, biryani etc. We tried mutton biryani and chicken chap. The quantity was good but quality was average the mutton was not chewable and the chicken chap gravy was good but chicken was not cooked properly. Although other dishes are also served and might taste better but our experience after tasting the above fishers was not so good.

Their Chili chicken preparation was horrible! It was too much salty with 0 flavour of how the gravy of Chili chicken should taste. We ordered naan, which was severely undercooked. Though the service was okay, food was horrible.

Ordered 1 half mutton and chicken biryani. Only the quantity was good against the price.taste was awful. Mutton and chicken pieces were very dry. Also ordered 1 plate of drums of heaven. The taste was good but too oily . Biryani also tastes bad not like before. Overall a bad experience. We had to asked for plates and spoons. Not satisfied like before.

Overall experience is not good. They increased the price in a huge manner that is just out of context. I used to go there from my school days since 2018 at that time the mixed rice price was just 90 and now they increase the price to 180 and decrease the quantity and quality. So I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I had very bad experience two times in that place . Recently I had chicken noodles from this place . It was not so good - quantity was good but the chicken pieces don't have any taste and like rubber . 2 days back on 18th feb 2025 , I had gone there and ordered mutton biriyani. The biriyani was also not good. Quality was good but quality or taste was very bad . The mutton piece was not well cooked and the all over dish feels stale. I felt this place is overhyped.

The place was good, foods were also nice. We tried fish finger, veg pan fried momo, chicken reshmi kabab, veg chowmin and chilli fish.

Food is delicious Its one of the oldest place for food.....in naihati Mainly famous for biryani....and other foods ar also good....recently i tried butter tandoori roti with tandoori chicken masala

Yesterday, Me and Two Friends of Mine were visited "Raj Cabin" for having our Lunch. Overall Experience Was so Bad and I Must Say that it was far from my satisfying. From Start to finish, the entire visit left me thoroughly disappointed and regretful. First and foremost, the service was abysmal. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, paying little attention to the needs of the customers. Our server took forever to bring the menus, and when we finally managed to place our order, it took an eternity for the food to arrive at our table. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy was evident throughout the evening. Moving on to the food itself, I found it to be underwhelming and subpar. We order Fish Fingers as a Starter. The fish finger dish left much to be desired. It was a disappointment from start to finish. The fish fingers themselves were greasy and lacked the crispy coating that is expected. The fish inside was undercooked and dry, resulting in a tough and flavorless bite. The portion size was also underwhelming, leaving me feeling unsatisfied. As a Result, we called the Waiter and Told him that the fish Fingers are undercooked and the the fish inside the fish finger is not fresh. But he constantly argued with us that the fish is fresh and the food is ok. Even He is reacting like that we don't ever had Vetki Fish. He justifying that the rotten smell is the actual smell of "Vetki Mach" and we don't ever eat Vetki Fish. Behaviour of the Service personnel was very rude. Then we ask him to call the manager. After some time, He comes with a man (may be he is Head Cook or anything else) who is not at all the manager. He forced us to belived that the person is manager. He behaves as same as the waiter did. He is also argued and told the fish is fresh. Both of us were tempted and ask them to take the fish, we will not have the starter and serve the Main Food. Moreover, the prices were unjustifiably high considering the quality of the food and the overall experience. I expected a certain level of excellence for the amount I paid, but what I received fell far short of even average expectations. It felt like a complete waste of my hard-earned money. The overall behavior was rude. Food quality was bad. that I will not recommend anyone to visit the Resturant .
