The restaurant serves really great Lucknowi food. The atmosphere was amazing, the decor is fantastic, and the food was great too. The only 2 things that disappointed us was the delay in service and the quantity of biryani. But other than that, it is recommended to try out once.

Food was delicious and ambience was good. We enjoyed the kabab and biryani, also the desert Aflatoon and Phirni was tasty. Hospitality given Mr.Sudipto Maity and his team members were excellent.

The ambiance is very good.Food quality and test is the best. The staff are very friendly and well behaved.All the food items are tasty but personally I liked the mutton chapli kebab.

It's one of the best in town, an absolute winner for behala surely, go for their signature items and you can't go wrong!

We visited this restaurant last day.. First of all, the atmosphere. This is surprising because its light is very soothing to the eyes. Secondly, the cordial behavior of the staff was very good. A pleasure and most importantly, the food is amazing. Now the food - we ordered Mutton Tar Nihari and Khamiri Roti (Nawab of Lucknow) It tasted great!!! Maintain great taste. Needless to say, be it a starter, main course or dessert, the taste is enticing.

This restaurant is located on james long sarani, near simutala new bazar, behala. That whole area is studded with big famous restsurants so to compete with them, something different need to be provided and Sartaj is really providing it. If someone wants to try some authentic lost royal recipes from the house of nizams, nawabs, rajputs, mughals and hindu kings then this is the place to visit. Ambience is royal, sitting area is large, divided into three parts, can accomodate 50 people easily, waiters are polite and co-operative. Now comi g to the food, all the food items are excellent, and they taste totally different. Many big restaurants prepare same type of gravy for multiple dishes but here every dish is different in taste, smell and texture. We ordered chaapli kabab and mahi kasoori kabab for starters and khameeri rori, bakharkhani, mutton taar nihari, martaban ki murgh for msin course abd pakeezah for dessert. Every item was excellent. Serving time was also quick. Expensive indeed, perhead cost will be around 1000 but the extreme goodness and novelty of food will blow everyone's mind. Overall extremely satisfied with the food here, will go there in future also to try other different lost and rare recipes...
