There are very few restaurants at barasat which serve quality biryani. Spicy palace is one of them. For 150 rs you will probably get the best biryani in the city. Not too dry, not too masaladar. Perfect. The chicken cutlet was good too. I didn't like the fish fry. For 100ra fish coating should have been bigger. Overall a great experience. Mutton quality is fantastic The quantity is huge for one person
I recently visited Spicy Palace, a newly opened restaurant in Barasat, and it was a delightful experience! The chicken biryani was absolutely delicious - perfectly cooked, flavorful, and aromatic. The balance of spices was spot-on, making it one of the best biryanis I've had in the area. To pair with the food, we also tried their masala cold drinks, which were refreshing and full of flavor - a unique and tasty addition to the meal. The restaurant has a great ambience - warm, welcoming, and well-decorated, creating a cozy vibe perfect for dining with family or friends. The staff were very courteous and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. As a lovely gesture, they even served complimentary firni to celebrate their 1-month anniversary, which was a sweet touch both literally and figuratively! The firni was creamy and had just the right amount of sweetness to round off the meal beautifully. If you're in Barasat and looking for a place with delicious food, good ambience, and excellent service, Spicy Palace is highly recommended. Looking forward to visiting again!

Just Awesome Biriyani. Mutton is so tender that it melts in my mouth. One of the best biriyani in barasat. They serve decent quantity with unmatched quality. Really appreciable.
