We ordered Plain Appam, Malabar Paratha, Mutton Chettinad, and Coriander Rice. The Plain Appam was okay, nothing special. The Malabar Paratha was great -- flaky and delicious. The Mutton Chettinad had really good quality mutton and tasted amazing. The Coriander Rice was out of this world! Mutton Chettinad went really well with everything we ordered. Overall, it was an amazing experience. A must-visit if you want to try South Indian non-veg dishes. We definitely wish to go there again.

Easily one of the best South Indian restaurants in the city. The pricing is reasonable, the menu is extensive and varied, service is great and timely, the decor is tasteful and the food is fabulous. What I loved most was that the flavours are not overpowering and suits all palates. Ask for recommendations if you're unsure. You can go from spicy chettinad to simple yet flavourful appams and stew. Their desserts are also delicious.

My all time favourite place .... must try their South Indian cuisine... sumptuous meal...would recommend everyone

After a long time I had something extremely delicious. The coconut rice and malabar chicken is like the attractive teenager in a netflix movie. Never had a better tandoori chicken anywhere else before. Probably one of the top 5 restaurants in Kolkata.

I never ate authentic Hyderabadi Biriyani from Hyderabad, so I don't know the actual taste, all I ate in Kolkata. But here Hyderabadi Biriyani is different, tangy, with coconut and curryleaves flavour, and we also tasted the kori gassi dish which has same qualities. In summer days one can opt for this instead of other biriyanis. Highly recommended for nonveg south Indian foods in Kolkata, they also serve vegetarian dishes. Their service, behaviour, atmosphere in this price is awesome just. Give try is once.

I'm rating 5star just because of its mutton biryani. Ahh still I can remember the taste. So original & authentic biryani I've ever tried. Softy softy mutton & the flavourful rice just superb one. Must try item. Although it's durgapuja time so here's a long line due to heavy demand of customers. And staffs are enlisting the name of customers just to make it fast & easy for them. Also I had tandoori roti & malabar paratha with paneer rajasthani. Literally this was an excellent combo. So delicious & softy paneer ahh it was so good. In starter I've tried paneer tikka. Honestly speaking this was so tendered, delicious & flavourful. They're serving so tasty dishes & trying to accommodate every customer as fast as possible. So visiting this place worth it.

This place is located near Desapriya Park. Just opposite of DKS main gate. If someone one want to try South Indian Non Veg food then explore this restaurant. North Indian food is also available. The Atmosphere and Staff behaviour is good and very much polite. The taste of food and the portion of food is good. Overall one can try this restaurant if the want apart from south indian traditional food.
