The New Madam G

My culinary journey on 27th January'25 was a good one in Madam g, where lipsmacking dishes were served in a true classy ambiance. Fuljhar Soda, was a perfect refreshing mocktail I ordered first. Then came, Mushroom medley dimsum, that was the show stealer. The texture, the flavor all were excellent. As starter I also tried Thecha Pork Chilli, Which was fresh and unique in taste. Coming to the mains, I picked Corn and Spinach Fried Rice with Mushroom Tangra style! Sadly, both somehow, couldn't live up to my expectation. No complain about the service as the staffs were extremely attentive and professional.

The ambience was nice and staff is really sweet and quick. We were served by Soumojit and he really was very helpful, patient and quick. We had a Thai High to drink, Thai dumplings and a prawn fish to start with. They were all fantastic. I would highly recommend them. For main course we had a masala roti kind of a thing and naan with butter chicken. Didn't like it much. Overall, the experience was good.

I went to Madam G for lunch soon after opening hours. So was honestly expecting them to be under prepared but we didn't have to wait at all for food! I ordered mutton seekh kebab and Assamese chilli pork . Absolutely loved each dish and had to order seconds. Service was very nice and the stuff was very friendly and cordial. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely be going back.

This place is overhyped and overpriced. Their starters and cocktail are really good but main course is same as available at any standard restaurant with a lesser price. Desert was pathetic and recommended to be skipped. Their service is very poor, they have practically 1 person serving all the tables. Food was placed at our table amd were told to serve it by ourselves! It seems they don't keep servers for more than a year to save cost Good atmosphere, we had a table for 11 with lot of space to move around. They also have smoking area Overall, it is overpriced with the level of food and service they provide This feedback is for a dinner. I assume it will be a good choice for bar

We had a lovely time today. This was our first visit and the food is absolutely unique. Loved the vibe of the place.

A great place to eat and enjoy with both family and friends. Chill atmosphere and good food makes this place a fun place to go to. Ghewar Burrata chaat is one of the most unique items that they serve. Its a must try. Also try their salads. They r very innovative. They need to introduce some eggless desserts as there are no options for that.

I was searching for places in Kolkata that serve some good fancy cocktails and that's how I came Madam G on social media. Solely trusted how good their signature names were and how elegent they looked and went it. And I was absolutely blown by how good these cocktails actually turned out to be. The decor is elegant and modern and felt quite in line with their theme - Indian cuisines served the modern way. Although we didn't quite try much from their food, we did order the Goan Chorizo Paniyaram and it rocked. The chorizo was exactly how I remember having it in Goa - I've been to Goa thrice and have had the luck to try some of their local cuisines beyond all the North Indian menu at the shacks so I do know for a fact how chorizos taste. So, yes, I was quite honestly a little taken aback on how finely they had managed to nail the taste with the right amount of smokiness. Would love to go back to try more of their food options - it sounds quite a bold and adventurous medley. Do note that the cost is on the more expensive end and the portion of the food is not that great but the overall experience somewhat does justify it. Expect to spend at least two thousand upwards for two people.

We held a private party here and got their corner room which gave us a secluded spot in the restaurant. Their staff took the time to understand our needs and ensured they catered to our needs. The drinks and food came to the table quickly and it ensured almost 0 downtime for the group. Service and atmosphere was great and the music added to the nostalgia! Would totally recommend this spot for food and for holding small parties.
