Customer Reviews & Testimonials
Visited just once. Order placed for 4 people. Served food for 3 inspite of writing it all down during taking orders. The waiter should have minimum common sense to see that something went wrong. Anyway food was not too costly. Pocket friendly. Service extremely bad
Pretty decent place to indulge into South Indian dishes. They have a decent spread available in the menu. We have tried dosas, vadas, bhatoras and all of them tasted good. The sitting space is moderately spacious, they have tables laid outside as well. The only point, if at all, I felt the coffee is expensive compared to the other items. They serve food smokig hot if you're having on the table but I did order a takeaway and the dosa was crispy when cold too, which was nice.
Reviewing again after 1 year. Their service and food quality has fallen badly. Yesterday we had our dinner there. The dosa was overloaded with too much salt. Waiting time was longer than usual though we were the only customers there. Food was not properly cooked. Decided not to visit again.
Absolute vile food. Ordered the following items. Masala kulcha Butter naan Paneer tikka butter masala Dal makhani Both naan and kulcha are rubbery and devoid of any butter. You can eat thinking that it has butter but not in reality. Dal makahni was only dal and not makhani. Disgusting preparation. And the worst of all the paneer item. It was bix of blood red curry where paneer is not even tikka 'ed. It was a dark red curry with white panner. Tasted like mandarin though. Two word conclusion: STAY AWAY!!!
Visited here as I was craving for south Indian food. the ambience was great, the service was awesome as we only have to wait for 5 to 10mints and our order was served. Overall it was a great experience for us. A must visit place
Good , in house sort of restaurant with moderate variety of sounth Indian cuisine. They serve Chinese too. We tried butter cheese paper dosa, rawa mashala dosa, Onion capcicum uttapam and special dahi wada. All of them very good and heavy for tummy. The catch of the evening was special dahi wada. It was so full of dry fruits. Price is very affordable. Request to the owners, please teach the service persons to be a bit more professional. What should they speak and importantly what not. Work on their dress as well. A common dress for all the waiters shows a very professional appearance. It is located in the by lane, right before the Bunty Petrol pump. Do not expect a great experience, but it will surely be good overall. Budget will be < 500 for two, and your tummy will be full for sure.
The best south indian restaurant in Kolkata they also serve Chinese and north indian veg options , must try special masala dosa, dahi vada chole bhature, paneer kabab
I visited there 3-4 times south indian dishes are good but proper dinner i tried kulcha stufiing was not proper, kdhai paneer i dont dont know what chef has made because they dont know how to cook kadhai paneeer and kashmiri dum aloo no salt in potato only gravy contained the salt.... I think they need to change this things and service for proper food is slow....
