I was taken to this place and it according to me had mixed review. The place has a good historical prospective and the decor sends the right context for it. The service staff are awesome, ready to help or assist us in every way. The food is where, I had missed feelings. The starters were amazing. We had ordered a fish dish with cheese sauce, that was amazing. The things, I would like to see a change was Chicken fries rice, lacked Chicken and the element of rice being fried on the wok. Also we has ordered some sizzler, the Pork sausages seemed to be in the vicinity of a rubber cord.

It is one of the most iconic places to dine at in Kolkata. They have amazing live jazz performances on the weekends. The food is great. I recommend trying the butter garlic prawns, shepherds pie and the lobster thermidor. Loved the experience overall.

Trincas is an experience you should never miss if you're in Calcutta. The live jazz music and the sitting arrangement throws you a little perception of how colonial india's bars that we usually see in movies would be. The cigarette smoking area is a cramped up space where you will fit tightly between two uncles so make sure you go out for a smoke. Park Street is usually a lively place when you go there on weekends, and Trincas definitely light up that area. Having said that, the food is amazing. I cannot specifically name one dish, you should try whatever they suggest you. It's the best. Take my word for it. The beer options seem to be limited but there are a lot of other alcohol options as well. Trincas is a delight if you visit on Fridays and Saturdays. I will be coming back for more.

Trincas Restaurant is a Kolkata heritage icon! This multi-cuisine gem offers a warm ambience and exceptional service. We enjoyed the Chicken Kebab Platter and Chicken Steak Sizzler, both delicious! Live music from 6pm adds to the lively atmosphere. A must-visit for foodies and music lovers alike!

It is one of the legendary restaurants of Kolkata. I visit there once in every 3 month. After my 5-6th visit I'm giving the review. It has delicious food with a blend of mind blowing music. The staff is extremely courteous and friendly. I always had the multi-cuisine items here which are good. The drinks are awesome, the place will be short if I write anything about drinks & foods. Simply everything about this place is amazing. Seems like a flawless place, will go again.

This review is for the Tavern, the extended part of Trincas. It is absolutely meant for the non-live music. People would opt for this part if they don't like live music. The decor has an essence of Old English house. This part is not that spacious, but it's still manageable. It seems like the food quality is somehow dipping for Trincas. The taste of food, the quantity is not at par whatever price they are charging. It is very disappointing to find that the tradition is not maintained here. Alas.

It's a heritage place, well-maintained and the staff's behavior is so good, food's are delicious I went there to celebrate my parents' anniversary and we really liked the ambience and the live music It's a lovely place, check it out once.
